Chapter 350 A Small Gain
It was getting dark.
When Li Jinxing finished his work and returned to the manor villa, he found that Nie Yao was nowhere to be seen in the living room.
"Master Jiu, you're back—" the butler took the briefcase and suit jacket from Li Jinxing and said respectfully.
Li Jinxing nodded slightly and asked in a deep voice, "Where's Nie Yao? Has she had dinner?"
The housekeeper shook his head and replied in a low voice: "No, when Miss Nie came back, she seemed to be in a bad mood. She stayed in the study alone and didn't let us disturb her..."
"Okay, go prepare dinner quickly. I'll go upstairs to take a look!" Li Jinxing instructed the housekeeper and went straight upstairs towards the study.
The door of the study was not locked. He knocked on the door twice and heard no movement from inside. He slowly opened the door with some worry, but found that she had fallen asleep on the desk and the computer had entered sleep mode.

Li Jinxing took her manuscript and found that the first one was a sketch of an unfamiliar woman. The woman in the sketch was wearing sunglasses and a mask, a windbreaker, tall, and had big curly hair. She looked like a very fashionable modern girl!
"Who is this woman..." Li Jinxing asked curiously.
"She is the clue given to me by the nurse named Lu Chunxia today!"
Nie Yao sighed softly and told Li Jinxing everything she had learned from the female nurse Lu Chunxia today, without missing a word.
Li Jinxing listened patiently and attentively, not interrupting her until she finished. Then he nodded in understanding and asked thoughtfully, "So now we can at least be sure that the woman in your painting is very likely the murderer of your grandfather?"
