"Miss Nie went out in the afternoon. She said she had something important to do and might not come back for dinner. She also asked you, Master Jiu, not to wait for her!" the butler replied respectfully.
"Why didn't you ask a few more questions after she left?" Li Jinxing asked coldly, obviously dissatisfied with the housekeeper's dereliction of duty.
"I'm sorry, Master Jiu, it was Miss Nie who told me not to ask more questions..." The butler lowered his head and answered apologetically.
Li Jinxing waved his hand, not wanting to talk any more to the housekeeper, so he picked up his phone and dialed Nie Yao's number. After waiting for a long time, the call was finally connected.
"Where are you now?" Li Jinxing asked Nie Yao in a deep voice on the other end of the phone.
"I'm outside..." Nie Yao lowered her voice, sat in the car, looked out the window, and asked in a low voice: "Are you home?"

Nie Yao quickly opened the car door, and sure enough, a moment later, Li Jinxing sat in, holding two lunch boxes and two cups of hot drinks in his hands.
"Did you rush here from home?" Nie Yao asked in surprise, taking the lunch box from him.
Li Jinxing nodded slightly, helped her open the lid of the lunch box, and explained with a low smile: "These are the meals I asked the kitchen to prepare, and then the housekeeper packed them up and I brought them here directly. Eat them while they're hot..."
"It smells so good..." Nie Yao couldn't help but sniff in emotion as she looked at the rich food in the lunch box. Her appetite was aroused and her stomach began to growl.

Seeing Nie Yao start to eat the lunch box happily, Li Jinxing curled his lips slightly, handed her the milk tea, and gently advised: "Eat slowly, there's no rush. If it's not enough, I have more here..."
"No need, you should eat quickly too!" Nie Yao took the milk tea and took a sip, then urged Li Jinxing with a smile.
Li Jinxing nodded slightly, picked up his lunch box, and slowly began to eat. He said casually, "I could have come back earlier, but I was delayed by a sudden visitor..."
