"Nie Yao has never doubted her future with me, but she suddenly changed her mind today. Isn't it because of what you said?" Li Jinxing asked coldly.
The housekeeper shuddered, lowered his head, and replied with a wry smile, "I made a slip of the tongue, Master Jiu. I just hope Miss Nie can be more considerate of Master Jiu..."
Before the housekeeper could finish, Li Jinxing interrupted him coldly: "Don't think I don't know, you are testing her for me, testing her!"

Li Jinxing interrupted the housekeeper's defense with just one sentence.
The housekeeper looked at Li Jinxing with a frown on his face, obviously looking a little angry. The rest of the words came to his lips, but he couldn't say them.

The butler silently watched Li Jinxing leave until his figure disappeared in the stairwell. Then he withdrew his gaze, shook his head with a wry smile, and sighed.
In the bedroom, Nie Yao had finished her shower and came out of the bathroom. Seeing that Li Jinxing had returned to the room, she wiped her hair with a towel and asked in confusion, "Li Jinxing, why did I seem to hear you arguing with the housekeeper just now?"
Li Jinxing was still in a bad mood. Hearing Nie Yao's words, he shook his head nonchalantly and replied with a faint smile: "How could that be? What is there for him and I to argue about? You heard it wrong..."
Nie Yao wanted to ask more questions, but Li Jinxing had already held her shoulders, asked her to sit down in front of the dressing table, and then helped her blow dry her hair.
"Don't bother, I'll do it myself. You're tired too, go take a shower!"
Nie Yao stopped his hand and urged with a smile.
"Okay!" Li Jinxing lowered his head and kissed her cheek, then turned and went into the bathroom.
Nie Yao turned her head to look at him until she heard the sound of water in the bathroom. Then she shrugged her shoulders, picked up the hair dryer and started to dry her hair.
