Chapter 455: Desperate
Bodyguards Kerry and Jiashan were on high alert and felt something was amiss. Kerry suggested in a deep voice, "Master Li Jiu, Miss Nie, please wait a moment. I'll go up to the plane and check it out. You can come back up if there's nothing wrong!"
Li Jinxing and Nie Yao nodded in agreement. Bodyguard Chris boarded the plane first, while Jiashan stayed below to protect them.
Less than a minute after Kerry boarded the plane, bodyguard Jiashan heard a noise not far away and said in a deep voice, "A car is coming—"
"Could it be that Li Jinxing's other bodyguards have just arrived?" Nie Yao asked hesitantly.
"Whether it is true or not, we must be vigilant!" Jiashan pressed the Bluetooth headset on her left ear, while staring at the direction where the car sound came from.
Nie Yao nervously grabbed Li Jinxing's hand and looked into the distance.
After seeing the black Cadillac, Nie Yao breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "It really is them. Could it be that they were just engaged in a fight with the criminals?"
Li Jinxing did not answer, his eyes frowned even tighter: "It's not them——"
"What?" Nie Yao thought she had misheard. She looked up at Li Jinxing and asked hesitantly, "But that car is clearly the Cadillac you arranged..."

Li Jinxing and Nie Yao nodded, and the two of them quickly ran up the gangway hand in hand, while the bodyguard Jiashan quickly followed while pulling the trigger to fight back at the group of killers.
As soon as they got on the gangway, two of the killers quickly rushed down from the car and were about to rush up the gangway.
The bodyguard Jiashan took out the smoke bomb she was carrying and threw it directly at the two men's faces. The two were caught off guard and fell to the ground from the gangway with a wail.
At this moment, the gangway was quickly retracted, and the bodyguard Jiashan quickly closed the cabin door and said in a deep voice, "Take off!"
The plane began to take off with a roar. The group of people standing on the tarmac chased after it and kept pulling the trigger on the fuselage, but they could not stop the plane from taking off. They could only stamp their feet in frustration.
Nie Yao looked through the glass window at the group of people outside who were unable to catch up. She breathed a sigh of relief, shook her head and smiled bitterly, "I didn't expect these people to be so cruel and crazy. They actually chased us all the way to the airport!"
