Chapter 493 Habit
Seeing that his injury was much better than yesterday, Nie Yao breathed a sigh of relief. While carefully reapplying medicine to him, she whispered, "Li Jinxing, I know you went jogging before dawn because you didn't want to alarm your eldest brother, right?"
"How did you guess that?" Li Jinxing chuckled and did not deny her guess.
"Because your eldest brother is in a wheelchair and can't walk, let alone run, you like jogging in the morning, but you don't want to stimulate him, so you simply choose to run when he's still sound asleep. Over time, it's become a habit!"
After Nie Yao finished speaking, she changed the medicine for him and put on the gauze. Then she looked up at him, smiled faintly, and asked, "Am I right?"
Li Jinxing nodded slightly, lowered his head and kissed her face, and chuckled softly, "The one who knows me best is Nie Yao. I really can't hide anything from you!"
Nie Yao shrugged amusedly, closed the medicine box, stood up and said, "Okay, you still have to be more careful, and your wound will heal faster!"
"I know!" Li Jinxing nodded, pulled her up, and urged with a smile: "You must be hungry. Go wash up quickly. I'll ask the butler Owen to prepare breakfast!"
After Nie Yao finished washing up and changed into comfortable casual clothes, she left the bedroom with Li Jinxing and went downstairs to the restaurant on the first floor.
Butler Owen was already waiting there. Seeing Li Jinxing and Nie Yao coming downstairs, he hurriedly said respectfully, "Good morning, Second Young Master, Miss Nie!"
Li Jinxing murmured in response, and Nie Yao nodded, smiling and saying, "Good morning, Owen!"
"Second Young Master, Miss Nie, please have breakfast..."
Owen pulled out chairs for the two of them. After Li Jinxing and Nie Yao sat down, Li Jinxing casually asked, "Owen, where's my brother? Is he awake?"
"The eldest young master was drunk last night and woke up once. I gave him some hangover soup, but he fell asleep again. I'm afraid he'll wake up a little later today, so the second young master and Miss Nie won't have to wait for him to have breakfast together!"
Butler Owen answered meticulously. Li Jinxing nodded and said calmly, "Big brother's alcohol tolerance is still as bad as before. You should persuade him more and don't let him drink anymore!"

Owen explained in a low voice. Nie Yao heard it and said with concern: "Owen, is he okay now? Do you want to ask a doctor to check it out..."
"No need..." Owen shook his head and replied with a faint smile: "Thank you for your concern, Miss Nie. The young master drank some hangover soup and fell into a deep sleep. It's nothing serious..."
"Then don't stay with us, go and take care of your brother!" Nie Yao quickly reminded with a smile.
Owen looked at Li Jinxing hesitantly. Li Jinxing nodded slightly and whispered, "Go, you are not needed here!"
Li Jinxing then responded respectfully and turned to leave the restaurant.
After the butler Owen left, Nie Yao ate her fried eggs and asked Li Jinxing with a smile, "Why do I feel like Owen is a little afraid of you? He's asking for your opinion on such a small matter?"
"Really? I don't think so..." Li Jinxing replied indifferently.
"Really? I've observed that he and your eldest brother get along more naturally and harmoniously, but he's a bit cautious around you..."
Nie Yao was talking to herself, not noticing that Li Jinxing paused holding the coffee.
