"Dad, that housekeeper clearly did it on purpose to trick me. Don't ask him for a band-aid. I think he deliberately made me like this!"
Nie Jinxi curled her lips and became filled with anger when she mentioned the young housekeeper.

Miss Nie has caught a cold, so please drink the ginger soup while it's hot. There are band-aids and iodine in this medicine box. If Miss Nie is injured, she can apply some medicine to prevent tetanus from getting wet in the rain!"
"Did A Yao ask you to prepare these and send them up?" Father Nie asked in surprise.
The servant nodded quickly and replied with a smile, "Yes, if you have any other instructions, just tell me!"
"No need, thank A Yao for me!" Father Nie shook his head and smiled faintly, looking at the ginger soup and the medicine box, and sighed softly.
Last time he was on the phone saying that A Yao was not broad-minded enough, and now it was proven that he was indeed the one who said those harsh words!
A Yao had been wandering around for so long before the Nie family found her. It was understandable that she didn't like Jin Xi, but she didn't harbor any resentment. At least after seeing Jin Xi's miserable state, she was still so thoughtful...
"Jinxi, drink the ginger soup quickly. I'll help you check your wound!" Father Nie sent the male servant away, handed the ginger soup to Nie Jinxi, and advised with a smile.
Nie Jinxi curled her lips and turned her head away, not wanting to drink the bowl of ginger soup. She sneered and said, "I don't believe she would be so kind at this time. Who knows if the ginger soup is poisoned?"

"You--" Father Nie frowned and began to look at Nie Jinxi again.
