Chapter 688 I Don’t Want the Ring Anymore

Chapter 688 Don’t want the ring anymore?

"Brother..." Li Jinxing was stunned. He never expected his elder brother to say that. He lowered his head to look at his elder brother, shook his head and said with a smile: "You think I regret it too? I don't regret it now, and I won't regret it in the future. I am only grateful to Lin Xiaoxiao, and I have no other thoughts!"

"That's good!" Li Yaofeng breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "You must tell Nie Yao this, and don't let her misunderstand you!"

Li Jinxing smiled bitterly and shook his head, sighing softly: "It's not that she misunderstood me now, but that she doesn't care at all..."

"Jin Xing, women are more sensitive than you think. Even if she says she doesn't care, she doesn't really mean it. Find a chance to comfort her!"

Li Yaofeng pushed him and whispered, "Don't make a big deal out of a small conflict. Otherwise, it will cause a deeper misunderstanding and you will regret it. Go now!"

Li Jinxing nodded and responded softly. After being persuaded by his elder brother, he finally went upstairs to his room.

"Yaoyao?" He called Nie Yao softly, but didn't hear any response from her. He could only walk into the bedroom and saw the sparkling diamond ring on the dressing table at a glance. It was placed there all alone, and his heart immediately sank to the bottom.

So when she said they were calm with each other, she meant she didn't even want the engagement ring?

An unprecedented panic also surged in her heart. She didn't want the engagement ring. Did she plan to never see him again in the future, or was she planning to leave without saying goodbye?

If that was the case, he shouldn't have agreed to stay calm just now... Even if she didn't want to be with him, he would tie her to his side and not let her go anywhere!

Li Jinxing reached out and picked up her engagement ring, holding it tightly in his palm. His face was so gloomy that it seemed like ink was about to drip, and his eyes were covered with a layer of hostility.

Just then, a sound of splashing water came from the bathroom. Nie Yao opened the tightly closed bathroom door, picked up a tissue and wiped her clean hands. She saw Li Jinxing standing in front of her dressing table with a terribly gloomy face. He didn't move at all, like a sculpture.

"Li Jinxing, you..." Nie Yao couldn't help but call him worriedly.

Li Jinxing slowly turned sideways and met her concerned gaze. His stiff face showed some more expression, but he looked at her deeply, as if he wanted to devour her whole body.

It was the first time Nie Yao saw his expression like this. As if she had been shocked by something, she walked up to him cautiously, waved her hand in front of him, and asked worriedly, "Are you okay?"

Li Jinxing didn't say anything, he just reached out and hugged her tightly in his arms.

Nie Yao was stunned for a moment, trying to struggle out of his embrace, but he held her tightly, as if trying to merge her completely into his body, his strength growing stronger and stronger...

"Li Jinxing, let go, you're holding me too tight..." Nie Yao pushed him away and said uncomfortably.

"Yaoyao, I thought you were gone..." Li Jinxing hugged her tightly for a while before muttering.

Nie Yao shook her head, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. She raised an eyebrow and asked, "I just came up here to change clothes and wash up. Where else can I go?"

"I saw you take off the diamond ring and put it on the table. I thought you left without saying goodbye..." Li Jinxing whispered. It was not until he felt her warm breath, smelled the faint fragrance from her hair, and heard her heartbeat that he was sure that she had not left, but was standing in front of him alive!
