Chapter 71 Misunderstanding
Because she had promised Director Chen and Li Jinxing, Nie Yao had been busy these days searching for and reading various materials on ancient Egypt. She even remotely connected with her junior Steve and asked him to send some library materials over.
"Ivy, you've been back for a while, and now you've only heard from me a little bit, and you still need me to help you send the information!"
Steve, a junior student who was talking to Nie Yao online, said with a rather aggrieved tone: "I thought you'd forgotten about us friends when you went back!"

"I promised to help others, I can't go back on my word..." Nie Yao smiled faintly.
"Who on earth asked you for help? There's so much information you can search for. This person is too demanding. They should hire a team!"
Steve on the other side of the computer couldn't help but complain on Nie Yao's behalf.
"I promised him not to tell anyone else, so I can't explain too much to you for now..." Nie Yao paused and reminded, "By the way, remember to keep this a secret for me!"
"Don't worry, I'm very tight-lipped!" Steve agreed immediately and said with a smile, "If you need my help, just let me know..."
"Okay..." Before Nie Yao could finish her words, Li Jinxing suddenly pushed open the door of her study and asked with a smile, "Are you hungry? I called someone to send over your favorite crab roe steamed dumplings..."
Steve, who hadn't finished his call yet, clearly heard a man's voice. He immediately raised his voice and screamed, "Ahhhh, Ivy, why is there a man in your room? Tell me quickly, who is it..."
Li Jinxing also noticed the voice coming from the computer. He raised his eyebrows and glanced at the computer screen, then asked thoughtfully, "Who are you?"
"I'm Steve, Ivy's junior... What about you?" Steve couldn't help but ask curiously, "What's your relationship with Ivy? It must be late at night in China now. Are you living together?"
Li Jinxing chuckled and did not directly answer Steve's question. Instead, he politely replied, "Hello, Steve!"
Nie Yao was originally a little annoyed that Li Jinxing directly pushed open the door of the study, but the hot crab roe steamed dumplings in front of her were aroused her appetite.

"It doesn't matter how he misunderstood..." Li Jinxing raised the corners of his lips slightly, and said calmly: "We used to live together..."
