Because when he booked the entire garden-style hotel, he had already instructed the manager not to allow any outsiders to walk around nearby. He shook his head and chuckled, then closed the glass door to the terrace and pulled the curtains. He walked to the window and covered her with the blanket that she had kicked off. He gently stroked her forehead and left the bedroom when he saw that she continued to sleep peacefully.
Li Jinxing returned to the living room, opened the wine cabinet and poured himself a glass of red wine. Then he sat back down on the sofa, opened his portable laptop, put on headphones, turned on the conference video, and started a multinational meeting with several foreign partners.
Two hours passed before the long video conference was over. One of the partners noticed the decoration background behind Li Jinxing and asked with a smile, "Master Li Jiu, you don't look like you're having a meeting with us in the company?"
"I just got engaged. Do you think I would be in the company at this time?" Li Jinxing asked back with a smile.
