Chapter 768 What happened
"Mr. Li, where is my senior sister?" Steve walked up to the living room on the second floor, looked around, and didn't see his senior sister Nie Yao, so he couldn't help but ask with concern.
"She's still sleeping..." Li Jinxing replied in a low voice.
"So, Senior Sister hasn't gotten up yet!" Steve quickly lowered his voice and quietly walked over to Li Jinxing, asking with concern, "I heard from an Egyptian soldier that you were in danger last night and almost got into trouble. What happened?"
Li Jinxing glanced at Steve while making coffee, and asked with a half-smile, "Since they even told you about the attack on us, didn't they tell you the details of the process?"
"They only gave a brief outline, and I didn't bother to listen. I didn't even feel like eating two extra bowls of breakfast, so I just ran over to see you and Senior Sister!"
Steve chuckled, rubbed the back of his head, and then hesitantly asked, "But Mr. Li, I heard you went out to the Khan Khalili Market yesterday?"
"Well, we bought some souvenirs..." Li Jinxing nodded slightly, pointed at the shopping bag beside the cabinet, and said to Steve, "The things are all there. We came back too late last night and didn't have time to sort them out. You can pick two things for yourself. If you like them, you can take them back!"
Steve followed his gaze, walked over curiously, opened the shopping bag, and saw that there were indeed all kinds of local souvenirs, papyrus paintings, gorgeous carpets, pyramid and sphinx crafts, as well as perfumes and so on...
He had often come to Egypt with Professor Fred before, so he was quite familiar with this souvenir. He just glanced at it and smiled at Li Jinxing, "I don't need these. Mr. Li, you can keep them. Let's not talk about the souvenirs for now. Mr. Li, what happened last night? You were just strolling around the market, how did you get into danger?"
"There were people following us at the market, so we took advantage of the chaos and left. We didn't want anyone to know where we were staying, so we deliberately didn't drive back to the hotel. Instead, we went to Pyramid Street. We didn't expect to find accomplices there!"

Steve sighed softly. Li Jinxing put down his cup of coffee, poured another cup for Steve, and handed the coffee to him.
"Thank you!" Steve quickly took the coffee, smelled the fragrant aroma, lowered his head and took a sip. His eyes lit up and he smiled at Li Jinxing, "Mr. Li, your coffee-making skills are really first-class!"
Li Jinxing smiled noncommittally and sat down on the sofa with his coffee.
