Chapter 829: Procurement Problem
Nie Yao waved her hand and said with a faint smile, "I don't have anything to do, so I can go shopping by myself. You should go back and rest early, because you have to get up early tomorrow!"
Steve was a little tired at first, but after hearing what Nie Yao said, he stopped trying to persuade her. He pounded his neck and said with a smile, "Okay, then I won't stop you, Senior Sister. After you finish shopping for supplies, go back and rest early!"
Nie Yao agreed with a smile, and after saying goodbye to Steve, she prepared to drive to purchase supplies.

Nie Yao thought about it, nodded, and smiled gratefully, "Okay, thank you for your hard work. You've been accompanying me everywhere these past few days!"
"It's not hard. This is my job!" Officer Ted shook his head and smiled faintly. He extended his hand to Nie Yao and said with a smile, "Miss Nie, please!"
Nie Yao glanced at his military vehicle, then at his own off-road vehicle, and whispered, "Officer Ted, we're just going to purchase supplies. If we drive a military vehicle, it would be too conspicuous. Let's take my car. It can hold a lot of things, and it's not that conspicuous!"
"Okay, then let's do as Miss Nie ordered!" Officer Ted nodded happily and ordered one of his men to drive his military vehicle back to the hotel first. Then he and Nie Yao drove the SUV to the supermarket in the city.
By the time the two of them finished purchasing supplies, it was already completely dark.
Officer Ted helped Nie Yao move the last box of things to the back seat of the car. He closed the trunk, clapped his hands, and said to Nie Yao who was not far away: "Miss Nie, is there anything else? If not, I'll get in the car and start it..."
"That's all, these are all..." Nie Yao smiled faintly and put the two bags in her hands into the back seat of the car.
Officer Ted had just sat in the driver's seat and was about to start the SUV when a bullet came down from a high altitude, shot through the car window and directly hit Officer Ted's temple.
Before the car door was closed, Ted, the officer who was shot and killed, fell directly from the seat and fell to the ground.
Nie Yao didn't hear any gunshots. Just as she closed the back door of the car, she saw the officer Ted in front of her fall down. She walked forward in fear and saw the bullet hole in his temple. Her face turned pale with fright.
She subconsciously raised her head and looked across at an old building. There was no one on the roof, but there was no doubt that there must be a sniper standing on the roof. He installed a silencer on the sniper rifle and then shot Officer Ted accurately.
If she hadn't asked Ted to accompany her to buy supplies, Ted wouldn't have gotten into trouble...
Before Nie Yao even had time to regret, she immediately took out her cell phone and called the local police station to report the situation there and her own location.
She originally planned to wait here for the police to come, but suddenly another bullet came from an unknown direction, brushed past her hair, and hit the car door.
Nie Yao was so frightened that her body trembled violently. It seemed that the gunman was still nearby and had not left at all!
She didn't bother to wait for the police, she jumped directly into the SUV, closed the door, stepped on the accelerator quickly, and drove away.
