Chapter 997 Strange Movements
There was no one in the bedroom, and Nie Yao became more and more confused. She could only go downstairs again and go directly to the backyard.

Nie Yao nodded, then recalled the strange phone call and asked, "I just called back, but no one answered, then it said busy. Is someone using the home phone?"
"No, no one has used it..." The maid answered hesitantly. Seeing that Nie Yao was not joking, she quickly said, "I haven't used it, and the other maids in the house probably haven't used it either. But Miss, please sit here for a while. I'll call the others to ask!"
Nie Yao nodded slightly, and after the maid left, she drank hot tea while waiting for the maid to come.
Butler Lu had gone out with Grandfather early in the morning. According to the maid, he might have gone out to visit an old friend, so he wouldn't be back for a while...
