Chapter 998: Sneaky
Nie Yao took out the key from her pocket, opened the door, and walked into her dusty bedroom. Because no one had cleaned it, it was covered with a light layer of dust.
She covered her nose and walked away, then stretched out her hand to try on the table for a while. Sure enough, no one broke in while she was away...

"If you've done nothing wrong, you don't have to worry about ghosts knocking on your door!" Nie Yao snorted coldly, staring at her intently. She walked directly to Nie Jinxi and asked coldly, "Besides, this isn't your own room! Let me ask you, what did you sneak into my dad's room in broad daylight when no one was home and steal?"
"What do you mean by stealing? Don't say such harsh words!" Nie Jinxi was immediately annoyed. She raised her head and looked directly at Nie Yao, retorting unhappily: "This is the Nie family, I live here too!"
"This is the Nie family's home, but your bedroom isn't here. You sneaked into my dad's bedroom by yourself. What on earth were you looking for?"
Nie Yao narrowed her eyes slightly and lowered her head to look around her. Although Nie Jinxi didn't have any documents or anything like that in her hands, it was obvious that she had just been standing in front of the cabinet and must be looking for something important!
"I..." Nie Jinxi was a little flustered when facing Nie Yao's sharp gaze, and could only pretend to be calm and replied: "I'm not looking for anything, I just ran out of tissues, so I came here to look for it..."
"Without tissues, don't you know to ask the maid to replenish them?" Nie Yao sneered, obviously not believing her clumsy excuse.
