Yu Xiangnan put the book back.
Before the effects of the [Disguise Mask] and [Identity Modification Card] wore off, Yu Xiangnan immediately teleported to the beach and completed side quest 1. Afterward, she rushed off to the mine.
Dust flies everywhere on the mine.
Yu Xiangnan soon spotted two figures at the entrance of the mine.
The two middle-aged women were arguing heatedly over something, their faces flushed red.
The woman, A, stood with her hands on her hips, her eyes wide with anger: "Why do you say my husband is dishonest at working in the mine? He works himself to the bone every day, how has he ever wronged you?"
The second woman wasn't about to back down either, raising her chin: "Hmph! Last time when supplies were being distributed, your family took an extra portion, and you still won't admit it. Isn't that taking advantage?"
"Don't talk nonsense! That's what we deserve. Our family contributed the most, so what's wrong with taking an extra share?" The older woman's voice grew louder and louder.
"You think you're the only one who's right? Everyone's watching, you're just being greedy."
Auntie B was equally adamant.
Yu Xiangnan quickly stepped forward, trying to mediate: "Aunties, please stop arguing, let's talk this out..."
But the two women completely ignored her and continued arguing back and forth.
Aunt A: "I'm greedy? You're the one being unreasonable."
Auntie B: "You're the one who's being unreasonable!"
"You guys go first..."
"You're being unreasonable."
"You're just being unreasonable!"
Yu Xiangnan opened his mouth, but found that he couldn't get a word in edgewise.
Yu Xiangnan: "......"
She finally understood why mediating a fight could be classified as a C-level task.
