That was Pei Ji's third or fourth day wandering in the asteroid belt.
In order not to miss the wedding, he arrived at the 2315 asteroid belt twelve days in advance.
Old Dion said that this asteroid belt produces the most rare and beautiful minerals.
He wanted to pick the best one.
But he searched all the outer asteroids, but there was not a single stone that could make his heart fall in love at first sight.
So he took a few soldiers from the Fourth Fleet and went deeper and deeper.
When passing by a circular group of debris, Pei Ji turned on the automatic driving and looked out the window while holding the nutrient supplement in his mouth.
It was at this moment that he saw a shooting star.
Like a burning jewel.
The shape is not very regular. It looks white at first glance, with a faint pink and blue flashing at the tail, like an interwoven spectrum, quickly passing through the window curtain of "Eclipse Sky".
Pei Ji was stunned for a moment, wondering how there could be meteors in the asteroid belt. Then another thought subconsciously popped up in his mind:
“It’s beautiful.”
"That blend of colors is like the interweaving of sunset and the sea. If I could make it into a pendant and place it between Shen Que's eyebrows, it would be very beautiful."
However, before this thought disappeared, he suddenly felt a huge tearing force.
A crack seemed to be torn where the meteor passed, and the surrounding space began to distort.
Luo Yuan's intermittent voice came from the headset:
"Zizizi... Admiral... Zizizizi..."
"Whirlpool...sizzle...run..."
The optical computer began to flash, and Pei Ji controlled the mecha to try to move away from the crack.
However, the rotating energy field pulled him madly, and the fragments that were originally floating calmly suddenly moved, whizzing past him.
Chaos, bumps, and shakes.
Alarms blared one after another.
Pei Ji didn't remember everything that happened next very clearly. He only remembered that after dodging frantically for an unknown amount of time, he arrived at an extremely dark and quiet space.
Then he saw a pink sea.
For some reason, this series of memories only became clear at this moment.
Pei Ji was surprised to find that since he left the asteroid belt, he seemed to have deliberately ignored certain things.
For example, time.
He had always thought that he had wasted time, but now he clearly remembered that he should have found the ore on the fourth day. Why did it become twelfth day?
For example, he remembered encountering a swarm of insects, but he did not remember encountering the gravitational vortex, let alone the pink meteor and the pink sea.
"I thought it was a nebula," Pei Ji recalled. "Only after getting closer did I realize we could land there."
"Then I found the Symbiotic Stone. There were so many of them growing there, it was like they were free."
Xingyao opened her mouth in surprise after hearing this. "So, everything in fairy tales is true? If you make a wish when you see a shooting star, it will come true?"
Jin Yi held up his chin and said, "I'm more inclined to believe that what Pei Ji encountered wasn't a meteor at all."
"There's no gas between the 2315 asteroid belts. Even if a meteoroid were to pass through, no electron transition would occur, much less emit light."
He looked at Shen Que.
The commander who had been asking questions just now hasn't said a word since he heard the meteor.
He stood alone, a little distance away from everyone else but very close to the screen, quietly watching the shadow of "Eclipse" on the screen.
The cold back looks like a frozen lake.
As if sensing Jin Yi's gaze, he tilted his head slightly and looked back.
Jin Yi did not look away, and Xing Yao, who had noticed something, also looked at Chen Que.
Two pairs of eyes fell on him at the same time.
"It's not a meteor." Shen Que said suddenly.
He turned his head and continued looking at the screen.
"It's fluorite."
"Fluorite?" Xingyao felt as if she had heard this word somewhere before.
Jin Yi opened his eyes slightly, but quickly closed them.
"I thought this substance only appeared in the Sea of Life."
"The Sea of Life?" Pei Ji frowned. "That place is almost an entire galaxy away from Baisha Star."
"But now that the commander has mentioned it, the one the admiral described does look very much like the fluorite outside the Sea of Life, even though there's only one," said the researcher leading the team.
There is a circle of gravel distributed around the sea of life. The temperature is very high, and each one is wrapped in a layer of misty gas. At first glance, it looks like a meteor.
"How could there be material from the ocean of life in the asteroid belt near Baisha Star?" Xingyao was confused.
Jin Yi suddenly understood something, "It's the turbulence of time and space."
"Space-time turbulence?" Xingyao was even more puzzled. "Isn't that a phenomenon that only occurs in the Sea of Life?"
Jin Yi: "Although it is very rare, there is a certain chance that the space-time turbulence in the Sea of Life will connect to other parts of the universe. I have heard that a fleet once encountered space-time turbulence extending from the Sea of Life while cruising."
He looked at Shen Que again.
But the researcher leading the team replied: "I've heard of that, too."
"A caravan encountered a turbulent flow of time and space from the Sea of Life, and crossed half the empire in one breath."
The researcher paused.
"Nothing in the Sea of Life can be explained by existing theories. That place is like... a living thing, with its own set of rules."
Another researcher spoke up, "Since it's a space-time turbulence, then isn't it pointless to search here? No one knows where the Admiral went with the turbulence. He might have already left 2315."
Other researchers echoed this sentiment.
Xingyao showed a disappointed expression: "The symbiotic stone..."
What if Pei Ji encountered time and space turbulence in 2315 and didn't know where he went before he found the stone?
