Pei Ji regretted it.
He should have brought Old Hall's oxygen tank with him before coming to the casino.
"Chen Que." He said seriously, "Let me ask you a question."
"You say." Shen Que raised his beautiful eyes and looked at him.
"You think I'm playing you?"
"Do you think I was just acting when I went to the asteroid belt to look for a wedding gift, went to the black market to find the Memory Stone, contacted the lunar headquarters and spent 30 million star coins to shut it down for an hour just to show you the sea of stars and please you?"
"I'm a clown, right?"
Chen Que held his forehead.
"No... Admiral..."
"Call my name."
"Pei Ji." He sighed solemnly. He felt that he had suddenly aged a lot today.
"No one would call someone while they're away from duty, knowing they have...problems. Military discipline is strict, why bother?"
"I miss you." Pei Ji blurted out.
"So... you're not on guard against me at all." Shen Que said helplessly.
"You've been guarding against me all along!" Pei Ji accused loudly.
"So, what is your final conclusion?" he asked Shen Que.
The air was quiet for a moment.
It's not because of dislike, nor because of vigilance.
"After ruling out everything else, there's only one possibility left."
Shen Que said in a light voice: "It's my problem, right?"
Pei Ji sighed, "Commander, this round is perfect."
In fact, Shen Que had a vague feeling before, and after experiencing everything today, he is now almost certain.
He has a glandular problem.
"I'm sorry." Shen Que whispered.
Unable to control pheromones and blend with Pei Ji, unable to reproduce, and even unable to be marked.
A warm touch came on my face.
Pei Ji reached out and rubbed the corners of his fluorescent eyes.
"Don't cry."
Shen Que frowned and asked, "Who's crying?"
There was actually a slight tremor in the voice.
He closed his mouth and avoided Pei Ji's hand.
However, the hand did not intend to let him go, pinching his chin and turning his face back.
Lean forward.
They exchanged a cool kiss.
"Don't ever apologize to me." Pei Ji whispered, "I don't accept any apology from you."
The moonlight fell into Shen Que's eyes, as if falling into a deep pool, rippling out moving ripples.
Those eyes had never been filled with so much emotion.
Full to the brim, almost overflowing.
Pei Ji felt that this must be his holy pond.
"So..." He gently stroked his delicate chin. "Besides secretly investigating Shakin's production line without Mother's knowledge, and secretly reporting to the Queen without my knowledge, what else have you lied to me about?"
Shen Que was no longer surprised, and his mood was at another extreme of calmness.
"You even know that I secretly inspected the production line." He said with a smile.
As soon as he asked the question, some clues flashed through his mind.
One account after another, along with what happened today, came to mind.
Connect the dots.
He suddenly smiled.
"I see."
"Jin Yi is yours."
"Commander, you almost tried to play tricks on me on my territory."
After a final sip of his lips, Pei Ji let go of the Omega and let him lean back into the comfortable and soft driver's seat.
"That's a buddy of mine who grew up in shorts. Jin Yi's father, Jin He, is my dad's right-hand man and the administrative minister in charge of the General Affairs Bureau. We were in cahoots when we skipped classes together in kindergarten."
Will Jin Yi skip classes with Pei Ji?
Why doesn't he believe it?
Shen Que shook his head.
The Executive Minister had been working behind the scenes, and Shen Que had never seen him.
According to Pei Ji, Jin Yi should be the prince's companion.
It’s amazing. How could two people who grew up together become two extremes?
all in all.
Shen Que: "This round will be a perfect score."
Pei Ji raised the corners of his lips proudly.
"I should have thought of that earlier."
Shen Que was rarely annoyed.
"I looked through the financial statements from the time you were managing the ore business and checked the account where you reported a loss of 40 million."
"What?" Pei Ji suddenly became nervous. "Can you please leave them a chance to survive, Commander?"
Shen Que gave him a strange look, as if he was surprised by Pei Ji's reaction, but he ignored the other party's protest and continued:
"That account ostensibly shows a mineral transaction, and the recipient is a high-end clothing workshop. I checked through Messiah's channels based on that name and found that the workshop does exist, but the information is subtly different from what's registered with us."
He paused.
"I wouldn't be surprised if it was Gabi or Xingyao who signed it."
"But that bill was signed by Jin Yi."
He tapped the armrest with his fingertips and said, "I'm naive. I didn't expect that he was protecting you."
Pei Ji swallowed, and for some reason he became even more nervous.
"and you……"
“Don’t worry.” Shen Que was a little surprised, but still confessed, “I didn’t continue to investigate where you squandered the money.”
Pei Ji was obviously relieved.
"You still have some conscience and didn't trample on your Alpha dignity."
Shen Que glanced at him indifferently.
I don't understand why it has to do with dignity again?
Pei Ji's terminal rang, and the casino's mess was almost cleaned up.
Chief Steward Barry relayed Pei Li's words to him, which roughly meant, "Hurry back to the fleet, little bastard! Don't let that vicious woman Carolina find out!"
She has discovered it.
