Wedding night.
Lin Xiao and Ji Ran took a shower and sat on the sofa in the living room watching TV.
A historical romance drama was playing on TV, but neither of them paid any attention to it.
Lin Xiao glanced at his newlywed wife.
Under the warm yellow light, Ji Ran's seaweed-like black hair was loose, her lips were slightly pursed, her slender fingers were twisted together, and her eyes were fixed on the television screen.
Lin Xiao chuckled, took Ji Ran's delicate hand, squeezed it, and said softly, "Come here, give me a hug."
Ji Ran obediently turned around, her face flushed, her almond-shaped eyes not daring to look directly into Lin Xiao's eyes, and gently snuggled into Lin Xiao's arms.
Lin Xiao gently rubbed her thin shoulders and back, hugged her tighter, kissed the top of her head which smelled of jasmine, and asked affectionately, "What's wrong, Professor Ji?"
Ji Ran hugged her new husband tightly around the shoulders and back, and kissed his neck.
"Honey, I still feel like I'm dreaming. I can't believe you chose me. You're my legal husband now. From now on, I can hug you, kiss you, and be affectionate with you every day."
Lin Xiao stroked his new wife's back, kissed her lips, and said with a smile, "Silly girl. You don't know how many men envy me for marrying you. You are wonderful. I married you because I was attracted to you and wanted to spend the rest of my life with you."
Ji Ran's eyes felt hot, and a layer of moisture welled up in them.
She nuzzled her new husband's neck, her gaze fixed intently on his lips, and softly asked, "Honey, may I kiss you?"
Lin Xiao chuckled softly, his eyes full of tenderness, and gave a low "hmm".
Ji Ran kissed Lin Xiao.
Lin Xiao's lips curled up.
He returned the kiss with a peck.
The two locked eyes, their gazes blazing with fury.
Lin Xiao pulled Ji Ran onto his lap, bringing them face to face.
Lin Xiao's well-defined fingers caressed Ji Ran's beautiful and dignified face, slowly approaching his newlywed wife who was a full twelve years older than him.
Ji Ran's heart pounded wildly, her face flushed red to the roots of her ears, and she put her hands on the shoulders of her handsome husband, who was a full twelve years younger than her, and, suppressing her shyness, slowly moved closer to him.
Their lips gently touched.
As they continued to kiss, Lin Xiao intensified the kiss, lingering his lips on Ji Ran's.
Ji Ran responded to her husband's kiss with a mixture of shyness and excitement, her fingers unconsciously tightening around Lin Xiao's clothes.
"Open your mouth, wife," Lin Xiao said in a low, hoarse voice.
Ji Ran was taken aback and exclaimed, "Ah!" Lin Xiao had already taken the opportunity to slip in and start licking and kissing her.
Ji Ran felt a jolt in her heart, and her whole body went limp in Lin Xiao's arms. Her face was flushed, her eyes were wet, and she responded to her husband in a soft and coquettish voice.

That night, Lin Xiao and his wife explored three times.
Afterwards, Lin Xiao held Ji Ran as they fell asleep.
Ji Ran snuggled into Lin Xiao's arms, burying her face in his chest, so happy she wanted to cry.
"What's wrong, wife?" Lin Xiao asked softly.
"I'm so happy. I love you so much, my husband." Ji Ran's muffled voice came from his arms.
Lin Xiao kissed the top of his wife's head, stroked her back, and said softly, "I love you too, my wife. Goodnight, my wife."
Ji Ran tightened her arms around Lin Xiao's waist and obediently replied, "Okay, goodnight, husband."
Six months after the wedding.
Ji Ran returned home after get off work.
"Husband—" Ji Ran's soft, gentle voice came from the living room.
Lin Xiao agreed, walked out of the study, smiled and took the car keys and bag from his wife's hand, and helped her hang them up.
Ji Ran wrapped her arms around Lin Xiao from behind. Lin Xiao poured her water, and she held onto him tightly. The two of them moved slowly around the room like conjoined twins.
Lin Xiao handed her the water glass, "Wife, have some water."
Ji Ran finally let go of Lin Xiao. "Thank you, husband." She took a couple of sips of water, put the cup on the table, and then threw herself into Lin Xiao's arms, standing on tiptoe to kiss him.
Lin Xiao put his arm around his wife's waist and leaned down to kiss her.
After dinner, the two went for a walk in the neighborhood and then went about their own business.
Ji Ran suddenly smiled and said to Lin Xiao, "Honey, let's play a game. If you guess right, I'll hand-wash your underwear for a week. If you guess wrong, you'll give me a bath tonight."
Lin Xiao stopped drawing, looked up at Ji Ran, and smiled, "Go ahead and ask."
"Honey, do you know what my favorite egg is?"
Lin Xiao frowned and pondered, "Tea eggs?"
"No, it's your face," Ji Ran said, suppressing a laugh.
Lin Xiao was amused. "So it's a riddle in the form of sweet talk? I get it. Now give me the next one."
Ji Ran glanced at her husband with some worry, thinking to herself, "How come other people's husbands can't guess it? My husband is too smart!"
So she nervously read out the next question: "Honey, do you know which god I like the most?"
Lin Xiao's peach blossom eyes held a smile, his dark pupils gleaming. He already knew the answer, but he pretended not to. "Cupid?"
Sure enough, the wife felt relieved when she saw that her husband hadn't guessed it, and excitedly laughed, "No."
Lin Xiao chuckled helplessly, "Who could have guessed that?"
"Honey, look at me!" Ji Ran's eyes sparkled, her eyebrows curved into a smile, and she said smugly, "It's your eyes."
Lin Xiao pursed his lips and smiled shyly.
"Honey, do you know what my favorite color is?"
"Burgundy?" Lin Xiao continued to act along with his wife.
"No. It's your beauty."
Although Lin Xiao had already guessed the answer, he was still teased by hearing his wife say such straightforward words, and he couldn't help but chuckle.
"The last question, an easy one, please listen to the question." Ji Ran's pretty face flushed with excitement, "Honey, do you like me? Please find the repeated words in this sentence."
