Inside the living room.
Lin Xiao took a sip of water and placed the cup on the coffee table.
Ji Ran had already taken a shower and was wearing a two-piece blue velvet nightgown, but she had light makeup on her face and her lips were a luscious vermilion.
She looked at Lin Xiao shyly and smiled, "I've wanted to do this for a long time. But all the money is with my mother. But recently I've taken on a lot of work and saved up quite a bit of money."
Lin Xiao nodded and chuckled, "Professor Ji, you've gone to so much trouble."

"I can't live without you." Ji Ran took Lin Xiao's hand, her eyes pleading. "Please save me, Lin Xiao, don't leave me so soon."
"All the money I earn will be yours. Please don't leave me, okay?"
Lin Xiao took a breath, opened his arms, and gestured for Ji Ran to come over.
Upon seeing this, Ji Ran was overjoyed and nestled into Lin Xiao's broad and sturdy embrace like a fledgling swallow returning to its nest.
Lin Xiao gently stroked Ji Ran's black hair, which smelled of jasmine, and said softly, "Professor Ji, you can keep your money. A person can't live without money."
"Believe me, with your abilities and circumstances, you can live a very good life if you want to."
"I'm just a spiritual opium; taking too much of it won't do you any good."
"From now on, we must each live our lives well."
"Only when a person saves himself will God help him."

"Don't be afraid, Ji Ran."

She never imagined that there could be such a gentle and considerate man as Lin Xiao in this world.
Her desire for love surged.
Years of suppressed desire are beginning to stir again.
After an unknown amount of time, Ji Ran wrapped her arms around Lin Xiao's neck and whispered something in his ear.
Lin Xiao's neck turned red when he heard this.
"Don't you want me to help you?" Her lips curled up, revealing pearly white teeth beneath her red lips.

She asked him if he wanted it.
He certainly wanted it.
But how could he repay her kindness?
He couldn't bring himself to return it exactly as it was.
So embarrassing.
