Chapter 6 He's not clean anymore!

Inside the bathroom of room 2306.

A woman in her thirties was looking down, holding a small mirror, and using a razor blade to tend to her small, untouched patch of mysterious jungle.

Perhaps the blade was too sharp, because blood gushed out immediately, flowing down the woman's fair and muscular thighs.

Hearing the knock, the woman shouted in response, "Wait a minute!"

Unfortunately, her voice was very soft and lacked strength, so it couldn't be heard from outside.

The woman quickly rinsed the wound with the showerhead, then put on her menstrual pads and rinsed the bathtub again to make sure no bloodstains were visible.

She then picked up her phone, saw Lin Xiao's message, and initially wanted to reply with a voice message, but after thinking about it, she gave up. She adjusted the cardigan over her nightgown, tidied her hair, and went to open the door.

This woman was Lin Xiao's employer, Ji Ran, a renowned piano professor at Jiangcheng Conservatory of Music.

She has an amazing talent for playing the piano and is highly sought after and respected in the industry. However, she has a mother who clings to her like a leech, which has resulted in her not being married or dating even at the age of thirty-five.

She has to be home with her mother on time every day after get off work, otherwise she will be bombarded with calls from her mother.

Her mother had an unhappy marriage, so she instilled in her from a young age that all men are bad and that she should never believe what men say. Ji Ran outwardly complied, but her physiology and psychology gradually became abnormal and rebellious.

Lin Xiao was the weapon Ji Ran found for herself to rebel against her mother.

"Hi, Professor Ji," Lin Xiao greeted with a smile.

There wasn't a trace of impatience on his handsome face.

Ji Ran pursed her lips, crossed her arms, and looked somewhat pale.

"Sorry, I was taking a bath in the bathroom just now."

Lin Xiao glanced at her dry neck, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. It was impossible for someone who had just taken a shower to have a completely dry neck.

Despite his doubts, Lin Xiao pretended to know nothing and entered the house with a smile.

"It's alright. Professor Ji, would you like to change your shoes?"

"Oh, here, take these disposable slippers." Ji Ran quickly handed him a pair of slippers.

Lin Xiao casually closed the front door, thanked them, changed his shoes, and walked into the living room.

The house is very spacious, estimated to be 200 square meters.

The decor is luxurious, in a European style.

Lin Xiao took off his backpack and placed it on the geometric rug next to the sofa. He sat down, put his hands on his lap, and sat obediently.

Ji Ran poured him a glass of water.

"Thank you," Lin Xiao said politely.

Ji Ran also sat down to the side.

The atmosphere suddenly became awkwardly tense.

You could hear a pin drop.

To break the awkward silence, Lin Xiao had no choice but to put on a professional smile and say politely, "Professor Ji, is there anything you need from me that you called me over so late?"

On previous occasions, Ji Ran had asked him to go to the music classroom at Jiangcheng Conservatory of Music, where she would provide paid instruction.

It is 10.05 points strict.

If Lin Xiao misses even one note, Ji Ran will hit his hand hard with a ruler.

They used extremely harsh language to evaluate his performance, making him feel like he was trash and didn't deserve to learn to play the piano at all.

Lin Xiao thought to himself, "This is clearly a piano professor using psychological manipulation on his student!"

Fortunately, he didn't like playing the piano; he was just doing it for the performance. Otherwise, he would definitely have developed psychological problems.

Lin Xiao silently lit a candle for the students who paid money to learn piano from Ji Ran, and shed a tear of sympathy.

However, it's so late today, if I play the piano, the neighbors will probably complain, right?

Ji Ran looked tense all over. He looked at Lin Xiao, his eyes darting around, clearly having something he was finding difficult to say.

Lin Xiao wasn't in a hurry; he just quietly watched Ji Ran.

Ji Ran possesses a particularly elegant temperament; she must have been a stunning beauty in her youth.

Because she never married, she maintained a slender figure like a young girl.

But time has not spared this former beauty.

When she wasn't smiling, the corners of her mouth drooped listlessly.

A slight wrinkle appeared at the corner of her eye.

However, the previous times Lin Xiao saw her during the day, she wore light makeup, had a dignified temperament, and an elegant demeanor. She looked to be only twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, and her looks were still very striking.

Wherever she goes, people's eyes are always drawn to her.

Many male teachers and students at Jiangcheng Conservatory of Music are fond of her.

The hands of the wall clock ticked away, indicating that time was passing by second by second.

Fifteen minutes later.

Lin Xiao drank all the water in his cup.

He appeared calm and composed, but inwardly he was thinking, "I'm just sitting here and I've made 50,000 yuan off someone. It's great, but it doesn't seem to align with my professional ethics."

So he spoke slowly, "Professor Ji, don't worry. Whatever you want to say, I can understand."

"Since you have purchased my services, I am obligated to meet all your legal requests."

Ji Ran took a breath and tentatively said, "Feng Qi, I have a wish list, and I hope you can help me fulfill it."

Ji Ran never called Lin Xiao by his name; she always called him Feng Qi.

Feng Qi was Ji Ran's student; he had been learning piano from her before he disappeared.

Lin Xiao had no objection to this.

After all, he knew very well that the reason he was hired by the woman in front of him at such a high price was because Feng Qi had disappeared and might never come back, and he was so valuable as Feng Qi's substitute.

Lin Xiao smiled and nodded, "No problem."

It wasn't until Lin Xiao took the list of to-do items from Ji Ran's hand that his clear, peach-blossom eyes flashed with shock, disbelief, hesitation, and resistance.
