Chapter 222 Is there still a possibility of reconciliation?
There was a strong wind and sand in the city today, so Yuan Hui couldn't stay outdoors for long. After leaving the hospital and having dinner, Chen Qing accompanied her back to Yijing Mansion for a nap.
"Mr. Yan will be the successor to the chairman of Yan Corporation." Yuan Hui liked sweet food after she became pregnant. She didn't find it greasy even when the nanny made red bean paste, and she ate it all up. "Master Pei accompanied my mother-in-law to the banquet. Mr. Yan's influence is growing very fast, and he is highly praised in the circle. He is quite a nice person."

Chen Qing took a taxi and arrived at Huangjia International. She hadn't been able to find a way to see Li Xiangli again in the past few days, so perhaps this was her chance.
There happened to be a minibus in the parking lot, and a group of people got off.
Chen Qing walked into the lobby from a distance.
The waiter led the way. She was wearing a mask, was small in stature, and had a weak presence, and followed the team up to the fifth floor.
The third to fifth floors of this club are banquet halls, mainly for corporate team-building activities. When she arrived at the door of Banquet Hall 3, the waiter noticed her and asked, "Are you traveling together?"
Someone at the front of the team turned around, and Chen Qing answered first, "Manager Wu asked me to come here to find him."
The waiter looked her over and said cautiously, "Manager Wu is in his office on the eighth floor. I'll take you there."
"No need." Chen Qing changed his tone, speaking haltingly, "Please tell him that Master Pei asked him to meet next time."
"Stay."
She ignored him, and the louder the waiter shouted, the faster she walked.
The waiter was instantly alert and called security, "Attention on all floors, someone is breaking in!"
Chen Qing's heart was pounding as he took the elevator to the first floor. Two rows of security guards were standing in the lobby, blocking his way.
She leaned her back against the wall, keeping an eye on the surveillance camera, her palms sweaty.
A man who looked like a leader walked out of the crowd and looked up and down, "Take off the mask."
"Brother, I really came here to look for Manager Wu, but I went to the wrong place."
"Is there any need to run away just because you've taken the wrong road?" The man had a scar hidden at the end of his eyebrow. He looked ferocious and impatient. "Take it off! Don't make me do it!"
Chen Qing shook his head frantically and ran towards the door.
Four or five people rushed up to stop her and easily restrained her.
The man sneered, "Miss, you're really walking into a trap. Take her to the back!"
Before today, Chen Qing had no idea that there was a larger space in the backyard of Huangjia International. She was pushed all the way to the door of one of the small houses and was so nervous that her mouth was dry.
The man from before grabbed her collar and dragged her inside. As she struggled, a female voice came from behind her, "Let her go."
The man turned around and bowed respectfully, "Sister Mei, do you have time to come over today?"
Hua Mei walked around to Chen Qing and said in displeasure, "What's wrong with her?"
"I don't know where this little yellow-haired girl came from, but she's mixed in with the guests. Don't worry, I'll make her tell the truth in less than two hours."
Chen Qing lowered his head and trembled violently.
Hua Mei chuckled and waved her hand, "Go do what you need to do, leave her to me."
The man looked at her in astonishment. "You shouldn't do such a trivial matter."
"It's okay." She stepped closer. "This lady and I are very familiar with each other."
Chen Qing never looked up, and Hua Mei led her to an office on the top floor.
"Miss Chen, what is your purpose?"
Chen Qing leaned against the sofa, pinching his palms. "I've taken the wrong road. I have no destination."
Hua Mei poured a cup of tea and said arrogantly, "So what are you planning to do by looking for Manager Wu?"
Chen Qing said nothing.
"If you don't tell me when you get to my place, I'll just leave you in the backyard."
"Will you?" She stared at Hua Mei. "Will Mr. Yan allow it?"
Hua Mei's knuckles began to turn white as she gripped the teacup. "If Mr. Yan knew your purpose for sneaking in, it would be of no benefit to him. It would only make the situation in the backyard worse."
Chen Qing refused to speak, "I only came to see Manager Wu. As for what happened, you can just ask the men in the backyard to interrogate me and get rid of me at the same time."
"You're quite stubborn." Hua Mei slowly put down the teacup and blew on her fingertips. "Should I say you're stupid or smart? Mr. Yan has something important to do today and can't come."
Chen Qing subdued his expression without leaving a trace.
Hua Mei leaned back, legs crossed, "He's meeting some elders from the Yan family tonight. Judging by the time, the dinner has just begun."
"I have nothing to say. Last time in Zhounan, you had the ability to hand me over to Boss Mu. I suffered a loss, so why should I hide it from you?"
She laughed and stood up. "Okay, Miss Chen, I hope you can still be so confident in a while."
Hua Mei called a security guard to accompany Chen Qing to the second floor.

Hua Mei randomly chose a private room, called a bartender, and went in to greet the guests.

Hua Mei offered him a glass of wine and said, "He's new here and young. I don't think his wine suits your taste."
"No way, being young has its advantages." The man drank it all in one gulp, put his palm on Chen Qing's lower back, and grabbed it unscrupulously.
Chen Qing stood up suddenly and stepped aside.
The man's eyes lit up, "You're so innocent! Come on! I'm going to play innocent with you!"
Hua Mei laughed so hard that her body shook uncontrollably. She said a few dirty words and turned her head to whisper in Chen Qing's ear, "I'm asking you again, will you tell me?"
Chen Qing couldn't help but step back and take a deep breath, "I have nothing to say."
Hua Mei grabbed her and pushed her towards the sofa.
The man stretched out his arms, his face gleaming with lust and looking ferocious and terrifying.
Chen Qing stumbled and was about to fall into his arms when someone picked him up from the waist.
Her back was pressed against the man's chest, and she could smell a mixture of alcohol and pine.
