Chapter 24: Flirting
Compared to climbing into another man's bed, for Chen Qing, Jiang Jingyan was at least someone she was familiar with and had feelings for.
It just needs to destroy the moral defense line in the heart and destroy the pitiful self-esteem.
She buried herself in the quilt lifelessly, enduring the repeated torture of her sanity.
Jiang Jingyan usually takes a quick shower, but today it took him longer.
Chen Qing had no desire to sleep. His cold had not yet healed, and his head felt like a blender.
Tearing pain.
About fifty minutes later, the bathroom door was pushed open.
Chen Qing closed her eyes tightly, her breathing becoming more and more rapid as the man approached.
Jiang Jingyan lifted the quilt and lay down.
The smell of men's shower gel and his high body temperature made her shiver violently.
I waited for a while until the room became so quiet that it made me feel uneasy.
What was expected did not happen.
Chen Qing opened his eyes tremblingly, and Jiang Jingyan was lying flat on his back with his eyes closed, his head resting on his hands, looking like he was asleep.
She didn't understand what Jiang Jingyan meant, so she didn't dare to move or sleep.
I managed to hold on until the second half of the night with the little bit of clarity I had, but I couldn't hold on any longer.
The next morning, Chen Qing woke up in Jiang Jingyan's arms.
She rolled her eyes numbly and found that the man was hugging her from behind, his arm across her waist.
The nightgown had probably rolled up during the night, and his palm was now pressed against her lower abdomen without any barrier.
A long breath lingered by his ears. Chen Qing remained motionless, moving his fingers carefully.
Suddenly, the bedside table on Jiang Jingyan's side vibrated.
She quickly closed her eyes.
The man retrieved the phone and turned it off.
He turned and buried his head in the back of her neck, rubbing his warm lips and stubble there.
Chen Qing's skill in pretending to sleep was not very deep, but she herself was not aware of it.
When they lived in the house in Zhounan, whenever Jiang Jingyan came back, he would always ask about her homework. There was a period of time when her grades plummeted, and she got away with it eight out of ten times by pretending to be asleep.
She thought she had escaped.
Jiang Jingyan's lips slid lightly across the neck, across the shoulder blades, and stopped at the thin and protruding butterfly bones.
Chen Qing's forehead was covered with sweat, and he tried hard to control himself.
When the phone vibrated for the second time, Jiang Jingyan's fingers just managed to lift his collar.
He never stays in bed and usually gets up on time.
A man who is self-disciplined and overly rigorous.
Today we were delayed for two or three minutes, but it wasn't too long.
Chen Qing noticed that he sat up, and then there was the rustling sound of someone getting dressed.
The bedroom door opened and closed, and she deliberately waited until she heard movement in the living room before opening her eyes.
The tense joints suddenly relaxed with a clicking sound.
Chen Qing washed up quietly, thought for a long time, and pushed open the door.
Jiang Jingyan happened to come out of the cloakroom, holding a belt in his hand, and looked at her.
Speechless for a moment.
He raised his foot, "Come here."
Chen Qing calmed himself down and followed closely.
Jiang Jingyan replied to the message on his phone with one hand and handed her the belt with the other.
She took it obediently and put it on her waistband.
"I've been busy lately." The man's voice was slightly hoarse, and he gave a nonchalant command. "Stay here when you don't have classes. Don't go back to the rental house for the time being."
Chen Qing's fingertips brushed across his waist and abdomen, "I still have something to take away."
"Lian Zhuo will go move the luggage this afternoon."
She pursed her lips.
The belt was put through the trouser buckle on the back, and Chen Qingji quickly put his arm around him and then let go.
Inadvertently, her face touched the man's chest.
Jiang Jingyan's cheekbones trembled slightly, and he looked away from the phone screen and stared down, "Where's the car?"
"At the Luo family."
"Pick another one, in whatever color you like."
"No need...it's too conspicuous in school."
"What will happen?"
His mouth had a refreshing taste of mint toothpaste and a very light smell of tobacco.
The atmosphere instantly became entangled into a fascinating and inescapable ambiguity.
