Jasmine Oolong Tea Flavor

Jasmine Oolong Tea Flavor

At the sports meet, Jiang Yanmu was once again dragged by Du Suisui to participate in the 50x108 relay race. Jiang Yanmu walked at the back, wearing a trailing pink fairy dress, paired with a pair of off-white Mary Jane shoes with thick high heels and bow ties. Her hair was casually tied in a bun, with a few strands hanging out. She wore a floral ribbon on her wrist, and fearing she wouldn't have time to find another one, she grabbed a gaudy necklace and put it on before leaving.

The girls are wearing fairy dresses, tutu skirts, and princess dresses. The boys are wearing shirts that resemble British style.

As they march in formation, an announcement is made over the loudspeaker: "Next up marching towards us is Class 5 of Grade 11..."

"Class 5, Class 5, live up to your youth, strive hard."

Sitting in the stands, she straightened her skirt. Next to her, Du Suisui wore a blue tutu with a large bow at the back and rhinestones adorning the hem, sparkling in the sunlight. She took out her digital camera and called out, "Jiang Yanmu, classmate." Jiang Yanmu, still adjusting her skirt, looked up at Du Suisui. "Hmm?"

A few stray strands of hair that Jiang Yanmu had rummaged through bounced in the wind. The photographer captured the moment Jiang Yanmu adjusted her skirt and looked up. As she lowered the camera, Jiang Yanmu smiled at Du Suisui. "Don't just take pictures of me. Camera..."

"Give"

"I'm going to take the picture."

After the two finished taking photos, the competition just started. They rested their chins on their hands, watching the people competing below the stage. Every now and then, they and Du Suisui would cheer for their classmates. "Go! Go!"

"Ji Chen," Du Suisui whispered a reminder. Jiang Yanmu pretended nothing had happened and continued shouting, "Go, Ji Chen!" As he passed the audience, Ji Chen smiled in Jiang Yanmu's direction. During intermission, Jiang Yanmu bought two mochi cakes and a serving of mashed potato spaghetti at a convenience store. She searched for a long time but couldn't find a place to sit and eat. She finally found one, but it was occupied.

Just as Jiang Yanmu was about to leave with Du Suisui to find another place, Ji Chen called her back.

Jiang Yanmu

"Um?"

"There aren't any other seats left, they're all basically full. Why don't we sit here and eat?" Ji Chen added, "We'll be leaving soon." Du Suisui was starving, so she pulled Jiang Yanmu down to sit and said to Ji Chen, "Thanks, Ji Chen." Jiang Yanmu also sat down and said, "Thank you."

"Need not"

Jiang Yanmu took a bite of the mochi cake; it was chocolate. She froze for a moment, thinking, "Chocolate...it doesn't seem to be mine..." Du Suisui had hurriedly swept the chocolate mochi cake into Jiang Yanmu's basket after buying it, without even realizing it herself. Looking at the mochi cake she'd taken a bite out of, she said to Du Suisui, who was focused on eating beside her, "Suisui, I...I think I accidentally ate yours..."

Du Suisui didn't care much about this kind of thing, especially her close friends. "It's okay, you just eat. What else do you want to eat?" she said, pushing all the food in front of Jiang Yanmu. "Okay... I'll give you the ones I haven't tried yet, let's trade." Jiang Yanmu could only bite the bullet and finish the chocolate.

Ji Chen's friend, joining in the fun, said, "I want to eat too." Du Suisui hesitated for a moment: "Hmm..."

"I was just kidding, Du Suisui."

"oh"

"I have some sushi here, do you want some, Du Suisui?" Ji Chen's friend.

"Yes! I'll give you mine too!" Du Suisui lost her mind whenever there was food. Jiang Yanmu ate for quite a while before finally finishing. She didn't notice that there was still some snow skin powder on her nose clip. Ji Chen pointed to his nose clip and reminded Jiang Yanmu, "Jiang Yanmu, you... have some on it."

"Ah, thank you." Jiang Yanmu started a game of King of Glory out of boredom. Du Suisui came over to look and said, "Jiang Yanmu, you actually play games?"

"Yeah, I'm just playing around. Want to play? I can show you how..."

"No, I can't."

"Well, too bad, I can't take you to lie in the canyon with me."

What is "lying canyon"?

"Um... it's just about giving up together," Jiang Yanmu replied while staring at the game screen.

"Okay! Then I'll come down and join in the laziness."

"Hmm... okay"

Ji Chen, who hadn't spoken much until now, finally spoke up: "Can I join you in this slacking off too?"

"Can"

Du Suisui downloaded King of Glory, and Jiang Yanmu skipped the tutorial and played a few matches for her to save up gold to buy Yao. After handing over the phone, the three of them teamed up and played in the Rift. The only sound they heard was Defeat x10, until finally, in the last match, they heard Victiry's voice and excitedly high-fived each other, "Yay!"

"Winning a game isn't easy," Jiang Yanmu put down her phone, stretched, and moved around a bit. "Ah, so the new color that just came out means 'won,' and all the previous colors meant 'lost,' right?"

"Yes"

Is it that difficult to play?

"Hmm... It must be that this high-ranking player is targeting you because you're new to the game, which is why you keep losing."

Jiang Yanmu spoke nonsense with a straight face. "That's too bad!"

"Exactly!" she nodded repeatedly. Ji Chen watched Jiang Yanmu coaxing Du Suisui, finding it incredibly cute, and his heart skipped a beat.

Jiang Yanmu, who dislikes having her picture taken, was dragged around and snapped away by Du Suisui. Ji Chen and his friends were pulled along to help carry things. They made Jiang Yanmu run across the lawn, holding her skirt, and then, just as the camera was about to shoot, she turned to look at it.

All the bags were thrown onto the lawn and piled up, allowing Jiang Yanmu to half-lie down on them. One hand rested on the hem of her skirt, the back of the other hand covered her nose, and her head was slightly lowered to the right of her eyes. Then she changed position again. She lay completely on the bags and closed her eyes.

Jiang Yanmu, her hand hanging on the railing, took a picture of her back. The last photo showed her on a stone table, her face resting on her arm, the floral ribbon from her wrist quietly placed in her hand hanging down her skirt. Du Suisui had wiped off her lipstick and redrawn a sickly lip, complete with bloodstains from her recent vomit. Using lipstick might not have looked quite right; it was just a crude attempt to create the bloodstains. "OK! Jiang Yanmu, that's fantastic!"

"It's the first time I've ever had to take photos like this. I understand how those people who take photos feel now." Ji Chen handed Jiang Yanmu a bottle of water. "Have some water."

Jiang Yanmu took the water from Ji Chen and said, "Thank you for your hard work."

"It's not hard, it's alright," Ji Chen said.

"It wasn't tiring at all, and it was quite fun," said Ji Chen's friend.

Du Suisui fiddled with the camera, looked at the photos she had taken, and said, "I'll send them to you when I get back and adjust the details of the bloodstains a little, Jiang Yanmu."

"Okay, thank you." Since we were among the last to leave, there weren't many dishes left to choose from when we got back to school, so the auntie brought out all the available dishes. Looking at the food in front of me, I realized that eating it later wasn't so bad. There was also shredded pork with garlic sauce, steamed egg custard, cauliflower, and chicken.

I almost tripped as I entered the classroom; it was completely dark except for the light from the screen.

Because of the sports meet, tonight's schedule is self-study followed by a movie. The next day, during the 50x100 relay, Jiang Yanmu wore her school uniform and had her hair in a high ponytail.

After the sports meet, I wanted to buy a candied hawthorn skewer to take home, but they were sold out, so I bought the kind that sticks to my teeth. I loved to play, but in the end, I was the one who suffered. On the way home, I kept trying to eat.

Upon entering, Jiang's mother noticed Jiang Yanmu's mouth moving. Thinking something was wrong, she asked worriedly, "What's wrong, Xiao Yan?"

"It's nothing, just some candy stuck to my teeth," Jiang Yanmu said, continuing to try and remove it. Unable to get it out, she gave up and slumped onto the sofa. She bumped into a box next to her. "What's this?"

Jiang's mother poked her head out from the kitchen. "Oh, I gave this to you when we went out to eat today. You and Xiaonan can share it."

"good"

Back in my room, I turned on the "Bring in the Wine" cassette player I'd been longing for. I was so engrossed in it that I didn't notice the dark chocolate I'd popped into my mouth. The flavor was still so strong, and I'd gotten it twice in a row. Then I unwrapped a matcha lava candy. This time the matcha flavor was good, but I hadn't expected the lava filling to be chocolate. Perhaps because it was mixed with matcha, the chocolate flavor wasn't as intense.

Jiang Yanmu only cares about whether matcha tastes good or not; she doesn't have a preference for or dislike of it.

Jiang Yanmu's birthday is approaching. It's this Wednesday, but since she's still at school and her parents have already celebrated her lunar birthday, everything is just right.

Before Jiang Yanmu could even finish saying the second half of her sentence, "[Tomorrow is my birthday]," the group chat for the five members was already flooded with comments like, "[What! Tomorrow is Jiang Xiaoyan's birthday!]"

[Can I still go if I didn't prepare a gift?]

[You can go, right, Jiang Xiaoyan?]

No need, just having people come is enough.

OK!

On his birthday, everyone else brought gifts, but he was genuinely serious when he said he hadn't brought any. He meant it; he wasn't joking. He looked at the three other people outside the door, completely out of place with him, with a shocked expression. "Didn't you say you could come even without a gift?" they asked.

“Yes,” Fu Yanjin said with a shrug.

"So what are you doing here...?"

“She deserves a gift,” Ye Ziyi said.

Hearing Ye Ziyi's words, Jiang Yanmu thought they made a lot of sense. "Then I'll go buy them right away! You guys hold out for me for a bit, I'll be right there!" With that, she dashed off, and the others went inside. Jiang Yanmu hadn't expected them to bring gifts; she held back her tears and accepted each gift one by one. "Happy birthday, Jiang Xiaoyan."

"Thanks"

Happy birthday, Jiang.

"Thanks"

"Happy birthday"

"Thanks"

"Thank you," Jiang Yanmu said, bowing deeply as she thanked them. "What are you doing, Jiang Xiaoyan? Why are you bowing?" Jiang Yanmu simply smiled slightly and returned the bow. "And what do you mean?"

"He went to buy a gift."

"Oh, I see." Hearing this, she came back panting, holding a bouquet of Elsa flowers. "Jiang Xiaoyan! Happy birthday! I didn't have time to send you flowers, so I only found this."

"It's alright, it's very pretty, thank you. By the way, what kind of flower is this?"

Hearing this, he scratched his head and said, "It's called Elsa, but I don't really know much about it. I went in and asked the owner what pretty flowers were suitable to give to girls, and then the owner recommended this to me."

"Thank you," Jiang Yanmu said, carefully placing the gift beside her. After dinner, the lights were turned off, candles were lit, and everyone sat together to sing "Happy Birthday" to Jiang Yanmu, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you!" Jiang Yanmu clapped and sang along, "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me~ happy birthday to me!"

"I hope my family and friends are always well and everything goes smoothly."

"call"

Happy birthday to everyone!

"Thanks"

It's too late to buy a vase. "You'll have to stay here for now. I'll get you a new one tomorrow." She took an empty vase and filled it with Elsa's clothes. She started unpacking the gifts. First, she unpacked Fu Yanjin's gift: a blind box of scented candles, a teddy bear, and a bracelet.

Jiang Yanmu couldn't resist grabbing the teddy bear when she saw something fluffy. She played with it for a while before putting it down to open something else. Shen Kuo's gift was a pair of headphones.

Finally, Ye Ziyi's gift was opened: a complete set of Hello Kitty hair accessories and a bouquet of plush toys. On the bouquet was a handwritten card from Ye Ziyi that read, "Happy Birthday, Jiang, I hope you'll always be happy."

"Yes, I will."

Jiang's mother and Jiang Nan, in perfect unison, gifted her novels such as "Wild" and "Getting into Character." Her older sister, Jiang Yu, gave Jiang Yanmu a floral dress and hand cream, while Jiang's father simply sent out red envelopes containing 9222 yuan each in batches.

Jiang Yanmu, with ulterior motives, frequently featured Ye Ziyi's gifts in the photos. She accompanied them with pictures of the gifts and a meme of a cat holding a cake, along with the caption "Happy Birthday! I'm so happy this year."

Fan 1: Happy Birthday, Xiao Jiu

Fan 2: "Xiao Jiu, Xiao Jiu, take a look at the birthday article I commissioned for you."

Fan 3: "Happy birthday, Xiao Jiu!"

Fan 4: "Xiao Jiu, is the cake delicious?"

He replied to fan number two: "So cute, thank you for carrying Xiao Chu to the writing commission."

He replied to fan number four: "The cake is delicious!"

Thank you everyone for your well wishes.
