Extra Chapter: Shen Fu
On the day of freshman registration, Fu Yanjin was surprised to find Shen Kuo there as well. Shen Kuo was walking behind Fu Yanjin when he noticed her. He casually walked up to her without saying a word. "Shen Kuo," Fu Yanjin finally spoke, only after she noticed him.
"Um"
"You're here too?"
"Um"
Fu Yanjin joined the pipa club and performed a pipa solo at a subsequent arts festival. She wore a simple white cheongsam dress and a shawl, sitting under the stage lights. Shen Kuo, sitting in the audience, was once again captivated by Fu Yanjin's radiant presence on stage. Encountering someone so stunning, no matter when, will always stir one's heart. Shen Kuo secretly recorded the performance on his phone, watching it every night. Later, after they got together, Shen Kuo backed up the performance video to his computer, which Fu Yanjin accidentally discovered. She teased Shen Kuo all day, saying, "Wow~ you even secretly saved my video~"

"Okay~ I won't tell you that you secretly saved my video~"
A week after the talent show ended, a boy came up to Fu Yanjin and confessed his feelings. Fu Yanjin didn't like him and rejected him. "Fu Yanjin, I like you! Be with me!" (The boy was a bad guy.)
"I'm sorry, I'm not ready to be in a relationship right now."
"Then we'll talk when you're ready."
"Uh...I..." Shen Kuo watched from a distance for a long time. He walked over and helped Fu Yanjin out of the predicament. "Fu Yanjin, the counselor is looking for you."
"Oh, you're here. Um, I'm really sorry." Fu Yanjin followed Shen Kuo.
Fu Yanjin walked backwards to Shen Kuo and smiled at him, "You've come at just the right time, Shen Kuo. If you hadn't come, I wouldn't know what to do."

Shen Kuo returned with two ice creams and saw the same person from before, his mood instantly darkening. He even saw Fu Yanjin eat the ice cream that person had offered, which infuriated Shen Kuo, who strode over and called Fu Yanjin's name, "Fu Yanjin!"
Fu Yanjin looked up and saw Shen Kuo standing opposite her. She noticed the ice cream in Shen Kuo's hand, then looked at the one in her own hand, and finally looked at the person next to her when she heard him ask, "Is it good?"

"I ate your ice cream. Sorry, I thought it was Shen Kuo's." Fu Yanjin stood up and looked at Shen Kuo. Shen Kuo's anger immediately subsided; he knew she had taken the ice cream because she thought it was his. He lowered his head slightly and chuckled softly. Fu Yanjin looked at the ice cream she had eaten and said, "Then I'll buy you a new one."
Shen Kuo handed his ice cream to Fu Yanjin. The boy suddenly spoke up, "No need, it's only right that I buy it for you. Besides, who is this guy? You're with me, how can you be with other men!" The boy's words became increasingly intense, even bordering on madness.
Shen Kuo looked at Fu Yanjin, waiting for her answer. Fu Yanjin frowned at Shen Kuo with a puzzled expression, silently asking, "What's going on?" Shen Kuo simply raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you haven't mistaken me for someone else?"
"How could I admit my mistake? You even said you didn't want to be in a relationship." (Bad guy)
"Yeah, isn't that basically rejecting you?"
"No, you said you couldn't then, so you can now."
"No, what are you saying? You're sick. Shen Kuo, let's go." Fu Yanjin couldn't stand it anymore and grabbed Shen Kuo's wrist to leave.
"It's melted, let go first," Shen Kuo couldn't take it anymore and made an excuse to get Fu Yanjin to let go.
"Oh, okay. I don't want to eat anymore, I can't eat anymore."
"I'll throw it away and take you to eat something else."

The boy kept bringing Fu Yanjin various things. At first, Fu Yanjin's roommate didn't expect the boy to be so disgusting, thinking he was just pursuing Fu Yanjin. Du Suisui slid into her chair next to Fu Yanjin, eating potato chips, and said, "He's bringing things again. Aren't you going to take them?"
"I won't take it"
Fu Yanjin was looking for information in the library, and it got a little late. On her way back, she ran into a young couple on a date and thought about taking a detour. She heard footsteps behind her, getting closer and closer. Fu Yanjin didn't have time to think; she quickened her pace and pulled out her phone to call Shen Kuo. Just as she dialed, the voice behind her became urgent, and someone grabbed Fu Yanjin's wrist. "You're seeing that man again! I forgave you then, why are you seeing him again! Tell me, Fu Yanjin, haven't I treated you well? I bring you all sorts of delicious food every day, but you won't accept it!"
"You're sick. Who would like someone like you? I've already said no, but you keep bothering me. Aren't you annoying?"
The call connected. Shen Kuo anxiously asked Fu Yanjin, "Hello, Fu Yanjin, where are you?"
"Shen Kuo! I'm here..." The phone in her hand was snatched away by the boy and thrown to the ground. He grabbed Fu Yanjin and pulled her towards the lake. "What are you doing! Let go! Help! Is anyone there? Shen Kuo..." Fu Yanjin's mouth was covered.
Shen Kuo rushed out in his slippers, running and calling out to his phone, "Fu Yanjin! Fu Yanjin! Fu Yanjin!" There was no response. He then called Fu Yanjin's dorm roommates to ask, "Where did Fu Yanjin go today?"
"Oh, the library. She said she went to the library today to look for some materials." Du Suisui
Shen Kuo's mind was in turmoil, but worried that Fu Yanjin wouldn't be able to wait any longer, he could only try to calm himself down. He tried to figure out which path Fu Yanjin would choose. Only someone who was being followed would dare to follow. Finally, he found her and ran over to see Fu Yanjin being thrown into the lake. "Shen Kuo..."
"Fu Yanjin!"
He jumped in after them. The moment he jumped into the lake, the people on the shore went crazy, yelling, "Hahaha, if I can't have it, you can't have it either, hahahahahahahahaha!"
Shen Kuo carried Fu Yanjin back to shore, gently laid her on the ground, and performed CPR on her to help her cough up the water. He then picked her up and rushed to the hospital, coldly warning the crazed man behind him, "You..."
Fu Yanjin stayed in the hospital for two days, and Shen Kuo took care of her for the same two days. Fu Yanjin was afraid that person would come again, so she stayed with Shen Kuo as long as she could. Shen Kuo secretly dealt with that person, wanting Fu Yanjin to stay by his side like this forever.
The two of them spent a lot of time together, leading people on both sides to believe that they were a couple.
Fu Yanjin got drunk at a karaoke club's birthday party. "Shen Kuo...I want Shen Kuo."
"Alright, alright, I'll call Shen Kuo over for you. Even when he's drunk, he still tries to show off," Du Suisui said as she used Fu Yanjin's phone to call Shen Kuo.
"Shen Kuo, come quickly and pick up your girlfriend to go home."

Shen Kuo, holding his phone, paid the fare and immediately got out of the car and ran over. Not hearing Fu Yanjin's voice again, he became afraid, like last time. His hands trembled as he gripped the phone, repeatedly calling out, "Fu Yanjin, are you still there? Speak, Fu Yanjin!"
Fu Yanjin woke up groggily and said, "Hmm~ Shen Kuo." Hearing Fu Yanjin's voice, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Okay, I'm here." The door to the private room opened, and everyone turned to look at Shen Kuo. Ignoring their stares, Shen Kuo called out breathlessly, "Fu Yanjin!"
Du Suisui waved to Shen Kuo from the side, "Here!"
When Fu Yanjin saw Shen Kuo arrive, she smiled and opened her arms to him, "Shen Kuo, you're here!"
"Yes, she's here." Shen Kuo picked up Fu Yanjin and let her climb onto his back.
"Shen Kuo~ Sui Sui said, you're my boyfriend."
Shen Kuo's heart skipped a beat. "Don't listen to her nonsense, okay? Shh, don't say I told you."
Shen Kuo fell silent...
The next day, Fu Yanjin sobered up. She saw Du Suisui sitting next to her, eating potato chips and watermelon. "After Shen Kuo brought you back, what else did he do?"
Fu Yanjin looked completely bewildered. "What?"
Du Suisui, munching on potato chips, said, "Shen Kuo isn't good enough."
Upon hearing this, Fu Yanjin guessed what Du Suisui was talking about, and blushed as she denied it, saying, "What are you talking about? Shen Kuo and I are just friends."
"Oh, sigh, seeing you two together every day, I thought you were already a couple." Du Suisui went back to her seat to eat potato chips with a disappointed look. Fu Yanjin walked around the campus, clutching his hands, recalling Du Suisui's words. "How could I possibly like Shen Kuo? I'm just... just scared." Suddenly, he saw a girl confessing to Shen Kuo. Fu Yanjin squatted by the pond, eavesdropping.
"Shen Kuo, I like you! Will you be my boyfriend?" The girl handed Shen Kuo a love letter. Shen Kuo reached out, intending to gently push the letter away, but from Fu Yanjin's perspective, it was an agreement. Fu Yanjin immediately panicked, stood up, and aggressively grabbed Shen Kuo's arm. "Excuse me, he's my boyfriend."
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know," the girl said, bowing repeatedly.
"It's nothing~" Fu Yanjin smiled amicably.
"Fu Yanjin, please don't do this."
"What about me?"
"I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control myself after what you just did," he thought to himself.
"Shen Kuo, they're all saying we're together."
“Fu Yanjin…”
"Then why don't we turn this fake relationship into a real one?"
"Okay," he said, pulling Fu Yanjin around the waist, his hand cupping Fu Yanjin's head, and kissing him passionately...
