Chapter 48 The miserable Wu Kaiyu!

"Where is this?"

Wu Kaiyu woke up from his coma and looked at the unfamiliar scene in front of him, an empty warehouse full of boxes, and the excruciating pain in the back of his head.

He only remembered that he was on his way to school, and because his house was not far from the school, he did not drive and was walking on the road.

Suddenly he felt something heavy hitting the back of his head, followed by severe pain and coma.

He vaguely felt that something was wrong. After all, his freedom was not restricted and no one was watching him. Even the warehouse door was half-open, allowing him to see the scenery outside.

It doesn't seem like kidnapping. Wu Kaiyu knew that he had to escape from here and let his father investigate which bastard dared to attack him from behind. He would make that person pay!

When Wu Kaiyu heard footsteps outside the warehouse, he felt panicked. Could it be that the person who attacked him came back? This couldn't be right!

His mind was working frantically, trying to find a way to escape unscathed!

He suddenly glanced at a pistol on a box beside him, and subconsciously picked up the pistol, hid behind the box, and took a defensive posture.

His father arranged for him to practice in a shooting club for a few months in high school, so he became quite familiar with the use of pistols.

He didn't care why someone kidnapped him, but as soon as the person entered the door, he would shoot, injure the person and then find an opportunity to escape.

Wu Kaiyu squatted on the ground leaning against the box, listening quietly to the movement outside the door. When someone pushed the door open, he rushed out impatiently and intended to shoot the person who came in.

What shocked him was that the man was wearing a police uniform and was patrolling around with a pistol in his hand. He was about to shout to attract the other party's attention and ask the police to rescue him.

When the police saw him, they didn't give him a chance to explain and shot him with a pistol, hitting his right hand and causing the pistol to fall out of his right hand!

The police quickly rushed over to control Wu Kaiyu and called into the intercom:

"The criminal illegally possessed a gun and tried to attack the police. I shot him and he is now under control!"

"Very good, arrest the criminal and bring him back to the police station, and then we'll call it a day!"

The person on the other end of the intercom did not tell the policeman to look for more criminals. After arresting Wu Kaiyu, they quickly retreated. The policeman could only obey orders.

"I'm not, I was kidnapped. The gun is not mine, I picked it up."

Wu Kaiyu heard the conversation and shouted and tried to break free, but the police were very experienced and there was no way they could let a criminal with an injured right hand escape.

Wu Kaiyu only knew that according to this statement, illegal possession of firearms and assaulting police officers, these two things combined were enough to get him at least ten years in prison!

But the policeman didn't want to listen to his explanation at all. He pulled him into the police car, and several police cars sped away.

Not long after, they were in the office of the chairman of Longxing Logistics.

Wu Tianhua frowned. An acquaintance at the police station had sent him word that his son, Wu Kaiyu, had been arrested for smuggling and owed over a million in taxes. He was also in illegal possession of firearms and had even attempted to assault a police officer.

With all these evidences laid out, if Wu Kaiyu really had to be held accountable, he would have to go to jail for at least ten years. If Wu Kaiyu wasn't his only son, he would probably have just let him fend for himself.

"This is really difficult! How could Kaiyu be involved in smuggling? It's a smuggling case that's of great concern to the higher-ups, and our connections are powerless to do anything about it."

Wu Tianhua rubbed his eyebrows. He knew that his son was indeed capable of causing trouble outside, but Wu Kaiyu definitely did not have the courage to touch such an illegal incident.

"Who is that kind-hearted citizen whose identity is kept secret? How did he know about Kaiyu's smuggling? This matter is full of strangeness. It feels like someone has set up a trap specifically for Kaiyu."

"The person who can influence the thoughts of the boss above must have a very powerful background. How could Kaiyu be so stupid as to offend such a person!"

Wu Tianhua took out his cell phone, wanting to know more about the matter and see if there was any chance to find out the reason behind it.

After Wu Kaiyu was taken to the police station, he wanted to defend himself, but no one gave him a chance. Before he could say anything, a police officer handed him a confession and asked him to sign it.

If Wu Kaiyu didn't know at this time that this was a trap set for him, he would be a real fool.

How could a normal case be handled without recording a confession and directly signing and sealing? He took a quick look and it was a complete confession!

If he really signed and sealed this, and if someone else did something wrong, he probably would never get out in his lifetime.

However, someone forced his hand to sign, and he had no way to resist. He could only hope that his father could find someone to rescue him.

Without waiting for Wu Kaiyu to rest, Zheng Kaishan dragged him into a private car. No one in the police station tried to stop this illegal behavior, even the director Li Xiangming pretended not to see it.

Wu Kaiyu was trembling in the back seat of the car. He learned from some police officers that the man in front of him was an airborne captain of the criminal police brigade with a powerful background.

He remembered that he had never offended Zheng Kaishan, and Zheng Kaishan had no reason to target him.

Could it be that Zheng Kaishan is just a knife under someone else's command? Thinking of this, Wu Kaiyu couldn't stop shaking.

If this kind of person were to deal with him, his father probably wouldn't even dare to fart.

He has control over the Jiangcheng Public Security Bureau and has immense power. He knows best how much of his father's business is shady. If he is investigated, he will die. How can he have the time to care about him when he can't even take care of himself?

"Captain Zheng, how have I offended you? Please at least let me be clear-headed!"

Wu Kaiyu was feeling uneasy, trying to figure out whether he had really offended a big Buddha at some unintentional moment, which led to his current imprisonment.

Zheng Kaishan ignored Wu Kaiyu and just drove without saying a word.

Looking at Zheng Kaishan's iron tower-like figure, Wu Kaiyu suppressed the lucky mentality in his heart. He thought that if he didn't do it well, he would really get himself killed. It wasn't as if others would necessarily kill him. With this mentality, his mood calmed down a little.

Looking out the window, the scenery constantly changes from high-rise buildings to simple houses. Is this driving to the suburbs? What is going to the suburbs for? It doesn't make sense!

Could it be that Zheng Kaishan was taking him to meet someone specifically? Is Zheng Kaishan really just a pawn?

Abandoned warehouse!

Wu Kaiyu's legs couldn't stop shaking as he watched Zheng Kaishan park the car in front of a dilapidated warehouse. This kind of warehouse might not have been visited by anyone for many years, making it the perfect place to kill people and bury bodies.

It shouldn't be like that. There's no need to go through so much trouble. There's no need for someone who has the ability to manipulate the police to set him up to kill him secretly. With a little bit of manipulation, he would probably be sentenced to death.

Zheng Kaishan didn't care what Wu Kaiyu was thinking. He just followed Ye Feng's orders, dragged Wu Kaiyu, who was like a dead dog, off the car, threw him into the warehouse, and then stood aside.

"Hello, Senior"
