Wu Tong, a young painter suffering from stomach cancer, is preparing to get revenge and fulfill his last wish, but he encounters Xiao Yuncheng, a "pesky guy"!

Wu Tong: Officer Xiao, I just casually did a good deed. Xiao Yuncheng: Then you might as well see it through. This is a story of a righteous, pure-love, meticulous criminal investigation captain (Gong) x an傲娇 (tsundere), intelligent, self-deprecating painter (Shou).

Important reminders before reading: 1. It's a mutual redemption story, not one-sided; the Gong also experiences anxiety. 2. The Shou's personality changes quite a bit after he confesses to the Gong. He starts off rather cold and harsh, but later becomes softer.

In my opinion, this is him shedding his hard shell and opening up to someone he trusts. 3. The Shou is a bit sly. 4. This is my first time writing, so my writing skills might not be sufficient to express the story I want to tell. Just enjoy it for fun.
