Chapter Thirty-Eight: Arrest

Chapter Thirty-Eight: Arrest

38

Wen Zhuo was dragged out of the bar by his arm around her neck. Wen Zhaoye was too tall, so Wen Zhuo had to stand on tiptoe. She was so angry that her face turned red. She waved to her friend who was about to come forward to save her, indicating that she didn't need to be saved. Her friend stopped half-believing and took out her phone to dial 110.

Wen Zhuo felt like she was being strangled. She kicked Wen Zhaoye hard and then quickly waved to her friend, who finally put down his phone.

Wen Zhaoye clicked his tongue, then wrapped his arm around her waist, lifting Wen Zhuo's legs off the ground completely: "Wen Zhaoye, change your position!"

"Let's change positions! Let's change positions!"

Wen Zhaoye paused for a moment, not really wanting to switch, but Wen Zhuo was struggling so violently that he was worried someone would call the police and accuse him of human trafficking. So he reluctantly loosened his grip, and Wen Zhuo immediately rolled over and clung to him, punching him on the head with his fists.

Wen Zhaoye: "..."

He knew it.

He shook his head, trying to dodge Wen Zhuo's blows. Wen Zhuo simply grabbed his waist and shoulders and started punching him.

Wen Zhaoye couldn't take it anymore and began to surrender: "Stop, stop, stop, stop hitting me." He finally walked to the corner, pulled Wen Zhuo off him, and his fingers inadvertently grabbed her cold thigh.

Wen Zhaoye frowned: "You came out wearing only these few pieces of clothing?"

Wen Zhuo turned around, turned her back to him, stared at the corner, and pretended to ignore him.

Anger suddenly welled up inside him. He couldn't understand why Wen Zhuo had to abandon him as well. He moved closer to Wen Zhuo, and the dark shadow beneath his feet also enveloped Wen Zhuo's shadow, as if he wanted to completely control her.

Wen Zhuo lowered her eyes, stepped on his shadow, and thought, "How annoying! Can't we just disappear from my life together?"

Her parents didn't care about the money she sent back, nor did they look for her after she left, did they?

"Wen Zhuo! Come back with me!"

Wen Zhuo didn't speak, and stepped on his shadow again. Does he say anything else besides this sentence all day?

Wen Zhaoye was so angry that his head was spinning. His temples were throbbing. He watched as Wen Zhuo shook his leg and swayed his body aimlessly, his eyes occasionally glancing to the side. Wen Zhaoye knew that was the direction of the group of male models. He took a deep breath, grabbed Wen Zhuo's shoulder, and turned him back: "Do you really have to find them?"

"They're not clean. Couldn't you at least find someone more normal? Does it have to be a place like this?"

Wen Zhuo retorted, annoyed, "What business is it of yours what I'm looking for? You don't seem to have the right to tell me what to do right now."

Wen Zhaoye paused, then pinched Wen Zhuo's face, his broad figure completely covering her: "Watch your words, I'm your brother."

Wen Zhuo turned her head away, sensing that he seemed somewhat dangerous. His dark eyes were staring at her, which was terrifying: "You, you are no longer on the same household registration as me."

Wen Zhaoye chuckled: "I'll always be your brother, don't even think about getting rid of me."

Wen Zhuo's eyes widened slightly. She looked up at Wen Zhaoye, carefully observing his expression. What did he mean? Was he implying something about her?

She slowly retorted, "When did I break up with you?"

Wen Zhaoye chuckled: "Feeling guilty? That's exactly what you were planning, isn't it?"

Wen Zhuo's eyes darted around, and she bent down to slip under his arm and run outside: "I'm going to find a male model right now, why are you still talking to me about this nonsense?"

Wen Zhaoye didn't let her escape. He took a few steps forward, pulled her back, grabbed her clothes, and left, saying, "Give up on that idea!"

Wen Zhuo was punished and fell into deep thought. This didn't make sense. Why was the Cha able to escape successfully, but she was caught?

Was it because she wasn't crawling into the right place? Wen Zhu struggled all the way before Wen Zhaoye lifted her into the car. Before Wen Zhu could even dart from one side to the other, Wen Zhaoye locked the door.

Wen Zhuo: "......" I predicted her prediction!

How did she get arrested? Oh no, she's not getting out now. But her friend is a member of that bar, and if she doesn't take advantage of it now, she might not get another chance to enjoy such a feast for the eyes. She sighed with regret.

Wen Zhaoye glanced at the rearview mirror: "..." What was he thinking about again?

He saw Wen Zhuo's gaze turn back again, his face darkened, and he closed his eyes tightly. How could that group of male models catch her eye like that?

What about him? What did Wen Zhuo's kiss mean? No, he's Wen Zhuo's brother, he can't think like that. He won't let Wen Zhuo come here again. Those men are always baring their chests, who knows how many people have touched them. Why does Wen Zhuo need them?

Wen Zhuo, sitting in the back seat, didn't know what to do. She subconsciously reached for her phone, but couldn't find it on her. She searched around in shock, but it was gone!

"Wen Zhaoye! I left my phone at the bar! Go get it for me!"

Wen Zhaoye glanced at her and tossed his phone to her with one hand: "You play with this. I'll have someone get it back for you later."

Wen Zhuo barely managed to catch it, muttered a few curses under her breath, swiped open his screen, subconsciously entered her own birthday, and logged in! Why is he still using this?

She immediately began checking his browser search, and after a few glances, she started to frown.

[What should I do if my younger sister is going through a rebellious phase and won't come home?]

[What should I do if my sister keeps wanting to hire male models?]

How annoying! She opened Wen Zhaoye's WeChat again to see if he had informed his family. There was only one pinned contact, labeled "sister". She blinked and looked down again, but couldn't find them.

She flipped through her contacts with suspicion, but after swiping her finger for a long time, she still couldn't find the names of those two people.

After a long pause, she looked up and asked, "Brother, you didn't block Mom and Dad, did you?"

Wen Zhaoye looked ahead and casually said, "Yeah, what's wrong?"

“Nothing much,” Wen Zhuo said lazily, lying across the chair with her legs crossed, looking relaxed. “Where are you taking me? Let me tell you, I’m not going home, not any home.”

Anyway, Wen Zhaoye can't keep her from going out forever; she'll always have a chance to come out eventually, hmph.

Wen Zhuo felt like she was missing a blade of grass, and when she told Wen Zhaoye about it, she received a look from him as if he were looking at her like she was an idiot.

The journey was short, and Wen Zhuo arrived in no time. Wen Zhuo lingered in the car and refused to get off. How could Wen Zhaoye not know what she was up to?

Wen Zhaoye opened the door on Wen Zhuo's side, reached in and grabbed Wen Zhuo's body. Wen Zhuo was shocked and immediately tried to kick his hand, but unexpectedly Wen Zhaoye grabbed his ankle. "Let go! Let go of me! Wen Zhaoye, you have no sportsmanship! How could you launch a sneak attack?"

Ignoring her cries, Wen Zhaoye dragged her out of the car. Wen Zhuo, who was originally holding onto the car seat tightly, probably let go suddenly when she saw this. Before Wen Zhaoye could release his grip, Wen Zhuo fell directly onto his body.

Wen Zhuo sat in his lap, and she couldn't control herself, so she fell onto Wen Zhaoye. Wen Zhuo was stunned; it seemed like she was pressed against Wen Zhaoye's face.

Wen Zhaoye suddenly felt something soft pressed against his cheek, familiar yet strange. He instinctively tightened his arms, and Wen Zhuo began to protest.

"Brother! Let go of me! Let go!!"
