Qi Huaihe was a man of few words, but he was very proactive and patient with Xin Xiyao.

Qi Huaihe was bewildered. "Your sister, you mean Awei? How have I treated her?"
In an instant, he recalled every little detail since his three cousins came to Yuncheng, but he couldn't recall anything he had done wrong.
"Did I not take Awei to buy malt candy yesterday because she wanted to?" Qi Huaihe frowned in thought. "But you said that Awei is losing her baby teeth and can't eat these things."
Xin Xiyao couldn't refute it, so she just said, "Don't even think about it. Anyway, we're not from the Qi family. I'll take Awei back in a few days. She won't get in your way."
Qi Huaihe was very troubled. What was worse was that after Xin Xiyao left that year, she never came to Yuncheng again.
