Mine area rating

Mine area rating

Because of the mine owner's instructions, Liu Xinghui put the low-level mining areas first. His first stop was to go to the mining area that the mine owner paid special attention to and designated as the first level to see what was so special about it.

This time, I really found some differences.

In people's impression, a low-level mining area should be a place filled with dirt and dust. The miners should be exhausted like dogs every day and unable to straighten their backs. The air should be filled with whipping and the supervisors' harsh shouting.

However, the scene Liu Xinghui saw was completely different from what he had imagined.

The mining area was clean and tidy. Although the tables and chairs in the mine canteen were old, they were spotlessly clean. The miners looked radiant. He took a quick look and found that almost all of them had a smile on their faces and were neatly dressed. The supervisor had no airs at all and even chatted with ordinary miners.

The scene before him was so harmonious that Liu Xinghui felt as if he had returned from a remote mining planet to a civilized society that advocated humanitarianism.

He must have come to the wrong place!

To put it nicely, Cinnabar Star is a mining star, but to put it bluntly, it is a slave star created by exploiting legal loopholes. The miners here have no human rights because they are too far away from the capital star and out of reach. This pattern of oppression has continued to this day.

He held the pen and looked at the clearly itemized scoring details on the scoring board, but for a moment he didn't know how to start writing.

He pinched his tired nose bridge with his thumb and index finger together, suspecting that he was hallucinating because he was exhausted from recent busy work and staying up too late.

But when he closed his eyes for a while and opened them again, the scene in front of him was the same as before, without any change.

Liu Xinghui stood there for a long time.

This overly harmonious low-level mining area is indeed more advanced than the high-level mining area.

"Assistant Liu?" Su Yanxi waved five fingers in front of Liu Xinghui's eyes. "Is it difficult to evaluate?"

She asked in confusion.

Liu Xinghui's soul returned to his body and he twitched the corners of his mouth, "It's okay, it's okay."

Su Yanxi was not interested in staying too long with this strange middle-aged man. She wanted to finish the review and rest early. Seeing that he had recovered, she nodded and took him to each rating location for inspection.

The first place is the mine.

Unlike the crowded mines Liu Xinghui saw when he was evaluating the mine last year, there was not a single miner in the mine at this moment, and there was no sweat odor that was inherent on the miners.

Liu Xinghui gave the mine conditions an A, and then the surrounding environment of the mining area. Su Yanxi took him directly to the radish garden.

Looking at the spacious and bright botanical garden, Liu Xinghui felt refreshed. This was already a small garden, and it began to cultivate sentiment. Naturally, the score was not low, still an A.

Liu Xinghui felt that this low-level mine manager was hiding too deeply. He had worked under the mine owner for so long and had never heard of such a person. These lazy miners and the endless small gardens would not only cost a lot of manpower and material resources, but also require the mine owner's consent to do such a big thing.

Thinking of this, the smile on Liu Xinghui's face became more obvious.

But then, he couldn't laugh anymore.

The third place we visited was the cave where the miners lived. It was originally pitch black, with nothing good or bad about it. It was not as surprising as the first two places, but for the sake of the mine owner, it was not impossible to give it an A-level rating.

If there were no accidents, then accidents would happen.

Just as he picked up the pen and was about to write the A, he wrote a stroke when he heard a "clang" and something metal fell to the ground.

Liu Xinghui reflexively looked towards the source of the sound. A young miner moved faster than him and blocked his view with a "swish".

Sometimes, Liu Xinghui really hated himself for having such sharp eyes. The miner moved very quickly, but he still saw the fallen object clearly. It was a big machete.

In the gloom, the unique silver light of the machete made Liu Xinghui's heart tighten.

He forced himself not to show any abnormality and continued to talk calmly to the person in charge, "Your mine is very clean and tidy, it's completely fine..."

This matter should have been covered up, but the miner was clumsy. When he rushed over to block Liu Xinghui's sight, he moved too violently and lost his balance, bumping into a platform. There was a "crackling" sound, and the machete fell to the ground.

The other miners' gasps rang in his ears, and Liu Xinghui secretly hated this miner for causing more trouble than success. Couldn't the miner be more reliable in doing things?

He valued his life very much and didn't want to know that there were so many machetes hidden here, and he didn't want to know what the person in charge was going to do with the machetes!

These things have nothing to do with him, he is just a small assistant!

Liu Xinghui wanted to cry, but he had no tears. Fortunately, he had a strong will to survive. When the machete fell in front of him, he turned around in time, as if he had been blinded, and continued to say the unfinished words: "... give it an A grade."

As he turned around, the other miners following Su Yanxi rushed in quickly, stood in a row, and tried to block the machetes in an obvious way.

Looking at the miner who was blocking the machete tightly and Assistant Liu who was concentrating on getting out, Su Yanxi found it a bit amusing.

When Liu Xinghui was about to reach the door, she suddenly said, "Assistant Liu, didn't you hear anything?"

As soon as she spoke, the younger brothers standing in a row looked at her in shock.

Liu Xinghui glared at himself in frustration for not moving fast enough.

Liu Xinghui: I can't keep this leg! Why don't you run faster at this time?

"I didn't hear anything," Liu Xinghui said, playing dumb. "Person in charge, let's talk about it outside. It's too dark in there, we can't see anything clearly."

Liu Xinghui turned his body away and glanced at Su Yanxi.

Liu Xinghui: Please stop! I really didn't see anything! Can you please hide it properly? The subordinates are like this. The more they hide, the worse it gets. The person in charge is also like this. Instead of sending them away quickly, they are still asking here!

Although the mining area has a clear rule that prohibits the private possession of weapons, he is just an assistant and really has no mood to enforce the mining area's rules!

He's killing me!

Fortunately, Su Yanxi finally let him go, said "Oh" lightly, and left the cave with him.

Liu Xinghui: You said "oh" and I was almost scared to death.

Wiping the non-existent cold sweat from his forehead, Liu Xinghui completed the half A with trembling hands.

To be honest, he didn't want to comment anymore later, because he would give it a level one anyway.

However, you have to do the whole show.

Liu Xinghui gritted his teeth and continued to the next task, which was relatively simple. He counted the miners. He found that the miners in the low-level mines all had one piece of clothing and looked more respectable than the high-level mine supervisors.

There are knives, clothes, and miners not working, but people are busy as hell!

No matter how slow his reaction time was, he realized something was wrong.

Liu Xinghui clutched his panicked heart, hurriedly checked the last item, closed the notebook, and said to Su Yanxi with a sense of relief: "Supervisor, the rating is complete, and the results will be out as soon as possible. I'll take my leave..."

Just as he finished speaking, before he even lifted his feet, he heard the person in charge say slowly, "What's the rush, Assistant Liu? Stay and try some of our mining area's specialties."

Liu Xinghui wanted to say goodbye, but a pair of huge hands rested on his shoulders, picked him up like a chicken, and placed him on a seat in the cafeteria.

He wanted to struggle a bit, with his legs straight, refusing to sit down, but the person behind him gave a puzzled "hmm", then used both hands to force him down.

Liu Xinghui's leg was almost broken.

He rubbed his leg quietly in pain, watching this strong guy run to the mine manager to ask for praise.

Liu Xinghui: This is a threat! A complete threat!

He cried silently in his heart, feeling that he was in great danger today. If something happened to him, would the mine owner avenge him?

He hasn't spent this month's salary yet and doesn't want to die yet!

Unfortunately, the large-scale silencing scene that Liu Xinghui imagined did not occur, and he even heard the person in charge criticizing the powerful monster.

"You can't be so rude to guests. You know you're strong."

Then, to express his apology, Daliguai personally brought him a pot of mining specialties.

The iron basin slammed heavily on the table. Liu Xinghui felt like he was being persecuted and trembled with fear.

"He can't speak, Assistant Liu, please be considerate."

Liu Xinghui: I dare not be inconsiderate!

The food was served for a long time, but Daliguai didn't leave, as if he was waiting for him to eat. He would only accept the apology after he ate.

Liu Xinghui had no choice but to take a small sip.

If it is poisonous, he can still save it.

After taking a bite, he found that it tasted pretty good, and couldn't help but scoop a few more spoonfuls into his mouth.

"What is this?" Liu Xinghui had never eaten such unique food.

It is full of moisture, a little sweet but not greasy, and has a unique fragrance mixed with a slight astringency.

"This is radish, we grew it ourselves." Su Yanxi explained.

At the same time, her bowl of radish soup was served on the table, and she began to eat very freely.

Liu Xinghui felt relieved. Since the person in charge ate it himself, it meant that there was nothing wrong with the food.

The delicious food soothed his restless heart. Spoon after spoonful, soon a large bowl of radish soup was in his stomach.

There were two basins on the table, one was bigger than his face, and the other was the size of the person in charge's palm. At first glance, he felt a little embarrassed for eating so much.

Assistant Liu, in return for the favor, hinted, "Your mining area performed very well. You should be ranked high this time."

Su Yanxi put down his chopsticks and wiped his mouth. "Ah, can our low-level mining area also be ranked at the front? Won't the mine owner have any objections?"

"The mine owner is quite supportive, but the senior mine managers are more difficult to deal with," Liu Xinghui said. "If someone surpasses him, it's easy to deal with if he has connections, but it will be very difficult if he doesn't."

Liu Xinghui felt that his suggestions were generally sufficient.

After having a good meal and a good drink, Su Yanxi got the information he wanted to know and let Assistant Liu leave.

From Assistant Liu's words, she got two pieces of information. First, she was likely to be ranked first in this rating. Second, the mine owner did not openly take action against her and even pushed her to become first, wanting to make her a target.

I guess their idea is to take advantage of the conflict between the two parties so that the fisherman can benefit.

However, who is the fisherman has nothing to do with the mine owner!

*

After a lengthy delay at the low-level mining area, Liu Xinghui rushed to the intermediate and high-level mining areas for assessments. Zhang, the person in charge of the intermediate mining area, was undemanding, and the assessment proceeded swiftly. He had always been at the bottom of the list, and had long been prepared for it, not caring about the rating at all.

The situation is completely different in high-end mining areas.

Ross, the senior mine manager, was a tall man with a cane and a top hat, looking like an old aristocrat.

Liu Xinghui didn't like dealing with him very much.

"Long time no see, Assistant Liu, why don't you come visit us more often?"

Liu Xinghui: Now that it’s really here, you’re unhappy again!

He ignored Ross's polite words and started the rating in a businesslike manner.

The mine is crowded and smells of sweat, Grade B; there are some unknown crimson marks around the mine area, and the fishy smell is very strong, Grade B; the mine is about the same size, Grade A, the cafeteria serves nutrient solution that tastes okay, but the sweat odor makes people lose their appetite, Grade B; the mission completion rate is 90%, Grade B.

Ross frowned as a series of Bs were written on the advanced mining area rating form. When Liu Xinghui was about to give a B in the final evaluation, Ross couldn't help but say:

"Assistant Liu, are you mistaken?"

Liu Xinghui paused, raised his eyebrows and looked at Ross, "What's wrong?"

Seeing that Liu Xinghui not only did not change but also questioned himself, Ross became angry.

"I won't talk about the mine and environment ratings, but aren't the cafeteria ratings and mission completion ratings too low?"

Liu Xinghui glanced at the score sheet and nodded in agreement, "It's quite low."

Ross and Liu Xinghui stared at each other for a moment, and Ross couldn't help but ask again, "Why don't you change it?"

Liu Xinghui shook his head. "That won't do. You're at most B-level. Any higher would be unfair to others."

The corner of Ross's mouth twitched.

Could it be that Assistant Liu accepted benefits from others?

He said in disbelief, "You mean, there are other mining communities that eat better than us? They complete their missions at a higher rate than us?"

Liu Xinghui nodded.

Ross seemed to have heard a huge joke.

"Assistant Liu, tell me, which mining area has better food than ours? Let me broaden my horizons today!"

Liu Xinghui said calmly, "Natural food."

"?!" Ross thought there was something wrong with his ears and confirmed, "You're talking about natural food that grows from the soil and sells for hundreds of star coins each on the capital planet."

Liu Xinghui nodded.

"How is this possible?!" Ross was so surprised that he was speechless.

"What about mission completion?"

"One hundred percent."

Ross's pupils trembled.

"One hundred percent?!" His voice cracked.

"Calm down, Director Luo."

Ross turned a deaf ear to Liu Xinghui's words and he couldn't remain calm at all.

Low-level mining areas have low mineral content, so the workload is much higher than that of high-level mining areas. Even high-level mining areas with fewer tasks cannot achieve 100% task completion, so how can a lower-level mining area possibly do it?!

"Liu Xinghui, are you kidding me?" Ross shouted.

Liu Xinghui scratched his ears and asked, "Do you think I'm joking?"

What you hear is not as good as what you see.

Ross sent Liu Xinghui away and used all his connections to find out which mining area had access to natural food. He completed the task 100%, but when the results came out, Ross was shocked.

The one that met both conditions turned out to be the low-level mining area that he despised the most!

Moreover, apart from him, the task completion rate of the other two mining areas has already reached 100%!

Ross: !!

He has always been so self-important, yet he was surpassed by the mining area he despised the most. Why is he so upset? !
