After dinner.
Can Can leaned against Wen Shu Qiao and sent a New Year's greeting to An An on her phone. An An's family was going to a hot spring somewhere very far away for New Year's Day, and they weren't in City A right now.
After finishing, Can Can snuggled into Wen Shu Qiao's arms again. Wen Shu Qiao hugged him, and he buried his head in Wen Shu Qiao's shoulder and whispered, "Auntie, I want to go to the hot springs too."
He hasn't even tried it yet!
Wen Shuqiao touched his neck: "Then I'll see if there are any hot springs nearby. If there are, I'll take you there in the next couple of days."
Can Can nodded: "Okay! Auntie, are we going to see a stage play tomorrow? Is it good?"
Wen Shuqiao laughed and said, "My aunt hasn't seen it either. We'll go see it together tomorrow and we'll know. But you can't do it in public..."
"No screaming, no running around, and no talking loudly." Can Can covered her mouth: "You have to speak softly, and you can't stand up and disturb the other uncles and aunts."
Wen Shuqiao hugged him tighter and praised, "Oh my, whose little darling is this? He's so smart and well-behaved!"

Can Can burrowed his face into her arms, refusing to let Wen Shuqiao pinch his cheeks, and acted coquettishly.
Shen Jiazhou came out of the kitchen and saw this scene. Can Can was so skilled at burying her head and acting cute. He couldn't help but ask again, how could a child be so clingy?
He walked over and overheard Can Can muttering, "Auntie, can I sleep with you tonight? I haven't slept with you in so long. Today is New Year's Eve, and kids should sleep with adults."
Since Can Can started sleeping independently, although he still sometimes whine and asks Wen Shuqiao to stay with him, he usually leaves after Can Can falls asleep.

Shen Jiazhou snorted. This is not fair. Why doesn't Wen Shuqiao have to say "Zun Du"?
Wen Shuqiao glanced at the time: "It's getting late. I'll take a shower, read for a while, and then go to sleep."
Can Can nodded: "Okay! Auntie, you..."
"I'll wash them for you," Shen Jiazhou said. "Go find your own clothes."
Can Can pouted and said, "Okay."
But I can't help being happy, because I can sleep with my aunt tonight! Hehehe!
He nimbly got out of Wen Shuqiao's arms, shuffled towards the children's room in his slippers, and bent down to pat the heads of the milk cakes as he passed by their nest. Then he hummed a song as he went back to his room.
Shen Jiazhou also got up, and Wen Shuqiao asked, "Should I help him wash up? You should get some rest."
“I’m sober now,” Shen Jiazhou said. “It’s just a bottle of wine; it’s nothing to me.”
Wen Shuqiao pursed her lips: "Okay, then I'll watch from the side."
"I suggest not to," Shen Jiazhou said. "With you around, it's difficult for me to carry out my work."
Wen Shuqiao looked at him, while Shen Jiazhou seemed used to it: "With you backing him up, he's going to start doing bad things."
She hadn't expected this layer.

He admitted that Wen Shuqiao was indeed better at managing things than he was at it.
Wen Shuqiao curled her lips; she couldn't be bothered to watch their little tricks.
Can Can had already found her clothes, and seeing that her aunt and uncle hadn't come in yet, she poked her head out of the children's room and said, "Why aren't you coming in? I can't wait!"
Shen Jiazhou snapped out of his daze, only to find Wen Shuqiao already walking over.
