A loud bang suddenly rang out outside, followed by something bursting open.
Can Can exclaimed excitedly, "Auntie! Uncle! Fireworks are going off!"
He ran to the French windows like a little monkey, yelling, "Wow, wow!" to look: "What beautiful fireworks!!!"
I've only ever seen fireworks on TV, I never imagined I'd actually see them today!
Shen Jiazhou only remembered that there would be a ten-minute fireworks display in the community at 9 p.m. every year on New Year's Eve and the first day of the Lunar New Year.
Wen Shuqiao also became interested and got up to walk to the French windows, where she and Can Can stood and watched the fireworks.
After watching for a while, Wen Shuqiao turned to Shen Jiazhou, who was still sitting at the table, and said, "Come here."
Shen Jiazhou blinked lightly, then got up and walked over.
From their vantage point, they only needed to look up slightly to witness the moment the fireworks burst into bloom.
Can Can stood between the two of them, staring unblinkingly at the sky.
Wen Shuqiao raised her hand and touched the back of his head: "Does it look good?"
