Shen Jiazhou looked down and patted his head: "Okay, neither of us will get sick. But you have to stay away from me now, or I'll infect you and you'll have to go to your aunt's."
Can Can was still holding him.
Shen Jiazhou looked at Wen Shuqiao for help, and Wen Shuqiao said, "Can Can, there's some porridge that Aunt Mingxue asked Grandma to cook downstairs. Can you go down and bring a bowl up? Uncle must be hungry."
Upon hearing this, Can Can immediately let go of Shen Jia Zhou: "Uncle, wait here, I'll bring it up for you."
Wen Shuqiao looked at him wearing slippers and said again, "You need to slow down, don't you hear me? Don't burn yourself."
Can Can saluted and ran down quickly.
Shen Jiazhou said, "He's not even as tall as the stove."
“There’s a nanny downstairs.” Wen Shuqiao looked at him and said, “If you’re still not feeling well, you can drink some porridge and then take a nap.”
"I'm all better now. I can have the energy after eating something." As soon as Shen Jiazhou finished speaking, Wen Shuqiao handed him a tissue: "Wipe your sweat."
Shen Jiazhou lowered his eyes, which fell on the tissue, and took it from him, saying, "Thank you."
He wiped the sweat from his forehead, realizing he hadn't even noticed he was covered in sweat.
She asked, "Did you just have a nightmare?"
From the moment dawn broke, Shen Jiazhou couldn't sleep soundly, tossing and turning and sweating profusely.
Shen Jiazhou recalled, "I didn't have any nightmares. I just dreamt that I was sitting on a reef with the sea below. Nothing much."
Wen Shuqiao, who was originally going to get the trash can, paused upon hearing this and turned to look at him: "What?"
Shen Jiazhou didn't quite understand why she looked so surprised, but he patiently said, "I said I dreamt that I was sitting on a reef with the sea below me, why are you so surprised?"
Wen Shuqiao snapped out of her daze and said, "Oh, it's nothing."
Shen Jiazhou couldn't help but lean his upper body closer to her: "Really nothing?"
"Hmm." Wen Shuqiao looked away. "Why are you staring at me?"
"You're good-looking, so I'll take a second look at you," Shen Jiazhou muttered. "What? Can't I even look?"
Wen Shuqiao sighed helplessly: "You're sick, so don't try to amuse people."
"I'm not kidding you, I really mean it. You're good-looking, so I'll take a second look." Shen Jiazhou's eyes crinkled with laughter: "Can't I even tell the truth?"
Wen Shuqiao was too lazy to pay attention to him, but she still remembered the few short sentences that Wen Zhixia had written, and said indirectly, "Why would someone be sitting on a reef when they are perfectly fine? It seems that your dream is reminding you to stay away from the seaside, or you will get soaked and catch a cold when you get home."
Shen Jiazhou hummed in agreement: "That makes sense."
Wen Shuqiao stood up from her chair: "It seems you're feeling much better. I'll go see Cancan."
Shen Jiazhou wanted to call her back, but he was also worried that Can Can might burn herself while carrying the porridge, so he nodded and said, "Okay."
Wen Shuqiao walked out of the bedroom and downstairs, but a question arose in her mind.
She had never heard Shen Jiazhou dream of the sea before. In fact, after seeing Wen Zhixia's diary, she asked Shen Jiazhou whether he wanted to see the sea and whether he liked it, but Shen Jiazhou expressed no interest.
I'd never heard him mention the sea before, but I never expected that I'd dream about it while I had a cold.
Wen Shuqiao turned her head and glanced at the open door. Unable to figure it out, she had no choice but to go downstairs step by step to find Cancan, who was serving the porridge.
*
After drinking the porridge, Shen Jiazhou felt much better.
After resting until noon, Shen Jiazhou had recovered considerably and was fully recovered after lunch.
Before Yu Mingxue went home, she arranged a car for them and tidied up before Shen Jiazhou took them out.
It was still snowing heavily in Country M, and the car was moving rather slowly.
Can Can leaned against the window and looked out for a while, then took Wen Shu Qiao's phone and sent a message to An An.
He's seeing the heavy snow now! Hehe!
After sending it, he asked again, "Uncle, where are we going now?"
Shen Jiazhou leaned back in his chair: "Go see your grandma and your great-grandmother."
"Grandma?" Can Can clearly didn't recognize the name.
“You can call Dad and Uncle’s maternal grandmother.” Shen Jiazhou said, “You can call her Great-Grandma or Grandma.”
"Okay," Can Can said, "Then will they like me?"
Shen Jiazhou hummed in agreement: "Grandma will like you."
Wen Shuqiao was looking at the snow scene outside when she heard Shen Jiazhou's words. She turned her head slightly to look at him, but in the end, she didn't say anything.
The Zhou family moved to the US a little earlier than the Yu family. As the car drove into a manor, Can Can exclaimed, "Uncle, this place is so beautiful! Shall we play here first?"
Wen Shu-chiao also remarked, "It really is beautifully edited."
It's like a castle.
Shen Jiazhou said, "Back then, we hired several famous designers to design it, and it even won some awards, all sorts of things, I can't remember them all."
After another half hour of driving, we finally arrived at the main entrance.
Shen Jiazhou got out of the car first and saw someone walking over with a cane: "Zhouzhou, Zhouzhou, my grandson."
Shen Jiazhou turned his head and looked at her, his smile widening as he called out, "Grandma."
Then, carrying Can Can out of the car, he looked at Wen Shu Qiao inside the car and reached out his hand to her: "Come on."
Wen Shuqiao glanced at his hand and said, "I'll get off from this side."
Shen Jiazhou withdrew his hand and nodded: "Okay."
Wen Shuqiao took a deep breath, opened the car door, and got out.
It's so strange. It's clearly Can Can who came to see her grandmother, so why is she nervous?
