Wen Zhixia blinked. Was she being treated to a meal?
She snapped out of her daze and quickly said, "No need, senior. I have employee benefits, so I can eat for free. You don't need to treat me."
Shen Jiachen replied, "It's a perk, but this cake was a treat from the senior to the junior."
He said gently, "I've heard you call me 'senior' so many times. Go back to school early after get off work. I'm leaving now. See you at school."
Shen Jiachen said goodbye to Wen Zhixia and left with the cake.
Without giving Wen Zhixia a chance to refuse, she looked out through the floor-to-ceiling window. Shen Jiachen hailed a taxi, opened the door, and just as he was about to get in, he suddenly turned around and met Wen Zhixia's calm eyes from afar.
He maintained a gentle smile, raised his free hand, and waved at Wen Zhixia.
Wen Zhixia looked at him. The wind lifted Shen Jiachen's hair, revealing his full forehead and making him look more youthful.
She paused for a moment, then nodded gently.
Shen Jiachen got into the taxi. As soon as he sat down, his phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and glanced at it. It was a message from Wen Zhixia.

Shen Jiachen stared at those two words and couldn't help but relax, his expression becoming even more relaxed.
The taxi driver glanced at him from the front and asked, "Where to?"
Shen Jiachen then came to his senses and said, "A High."
The taxi drove steadily toward Highway A.
A-High is actually not far; it's only a 20-minute taxi ride from the coffee shop.
The evening self-study session at A High School ended at nine o'clock. Shen Jiachen arrived just in time and waited at the door for a while before watching Shen Jiazhou and the others come out.
Gu Xingyuan, with his arm around Shen Jiazhou's shoulder, was extremely surprised to see Shen Jiachen and immediately dragged Shen Jiazhou to the door.
Ning Fei sighed, noticing it too, and quickened his pace.
"Brother Chen!" Gu Xingyuan greeted him, "What brings you here today?"

Shen Jiachen greeted them and shared the cake with Gu Xingyuan and Ning Fei. Then he said, "I saw your family's car. Go back now."
He said, "I'll take you guys out to play this weekend."

Shen Jiachen said, "A sports car? What score did you get on the test?"
Gu Xingyuan exclaimed, "University A is a piece of cake, they can crush it with a snap of their fingers!"
They started getting extra lessons from a young age, and even the worst grades could be turned into something amazing. Besides, they're not stupid at all now.
It was indeed very late, and Shen Jiachen urged them to leave quickly. Gu Xingyuan and Ning Fei strolled off arm in arm.
Shen Jiachen then looked at Shen Jiazhou and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you angry?"
Shen Jiazhou raised his clear black and white eyes and replied, "I'm not angry, don't spread rumors."
"You said you weren't angry." Shen Jiachen laughed and reached out to pinch his cheek. "Your face is stinky, stinkyer than a rotten egg. Come sleep at my place tonight."
"I'm not going." Shen Jiazhou straightened his backpack. "I'm going back."
Although he said that, his body remained completely still.
Shen Jiachen suppressed a laugh and exclaimed, "Then can I beg you to come and rest at my place? We can have the driver take us both back, otherwise how long will it take me to get a taxi?"
After evening self-study at A High School, the roads would become congested, and even if Shen Jiachen managed to hail a taxi, he would have to wait a long time to get in.
Shen Jiazhou then softened a bit, and Shen Jiachen took the opportunity to shake the small cake in his hand: "I even went out of my way to buy a cake. Do you want some barbecue? I'll buy it for you later."

The two men got into the car together. The driver was a little surprised when he saw Shen Jiachen, but he quickly calmed down and drove the two brothers to Shen Jiachen's house.
Passing by a barbecue restaurant, Shen Jiachen looked at Shen Jiazhou, who was catching up on sleep, and asked, "You really don't want any barbecue?"
Shen Jiazhou opened his eyes, glanced out the window, then closed them again and said, "I'll eat the food downstairs from your house."
It means I'll be sleeping at Shen Jiachen's house tonight.
Shen Jiachen chuckled. Shen Jiazhou heard his laughter but didn't open his eyes. He just said coolly, "You've already begged me. If I don't go, I'll be disrespecting you."
"Please, please." Shen Jiachen sighed, "I'm starting to miss your 'sweet rice ball' days. You were so cute back then, calling out 'brother, brother' so unclearly."
Shen Jiazhou scoffed coldly, "Don't try to distort your memories, okay?"
He's not a rooster, but Shen Jiachen is a car horn.
It's clearly Shen Jiachen calling him "little brother" all day long! He's just politely responding; when did he call him "big brother"? That's nonsense!
Shen Jiachen glanced at him, hummed twice, and said perfunctorily, "Okay, no changes."
