The phone rang, and Wen Shuqiao gave the two of them an apologetic look before taking out her phone to answer it.
On the phone, Zhong Qi asked, "Sister Shuqiao, have you arrived?"
"I've arrived." Hearing this, Wen Shuqiao looked up and around. "Where are you?"
"I'm at the door, I'll be right in. I just wanted to check if you'd arrived yet. If not, I'll wait for you to come in together." Zhong Qi said, "Since you've already gone in, I'll come in too. We'll take the elevator, it'll only take two minutes, hehe."
Wen Shuqiao agreed, hung up the phone, and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Xie Jingbei didn't insist. He said, "Okay, you can contact me on WeChat if anything comes up. I'm going to take care of the others."
Wen Shuqiao nodded: "Okay, you go ahead and do your work."
Xie Jingbei casually picked up a glass of red wine and left.
Wen Shuqiao watched his back, and when he turned back to look at her after taking two steps, she gave him a polite yet distant smile.
Xie Jingbei smiled at her, then joined the group of people he knew.
Wen Shuqiao breathed a sigh of relief. She greeted the other teachers in the studio, and then turned around to see Zhong Qi enter the venue.
Zhong Qi raised her hand and waved to her, then quickly walked over.
Looking at her attire, Wen Shuqiao asked, "Aren't you cold?"
"It's not cold," Zhong Qi said with a smile. "The hotel has the heating on, it's warm!"
Zhong Qi wore a spaghetti strap dress today, the hem of which reached her knees, revealing her arms and legs. Even looking at it, she couldn't help but shiver.
However, upon hearing Zhong Qi say that, Wen Shuqiao nodded silently: "Okay, as long as it's not cold."
Seeing her reaction, Zhong Qi chuckled and said, "Haha, sis, you're such a straight woman."
She twirled in front of Wen Shuqiao, her skirt swaying like a blooming flower. Zhong Qi stopped and continued, "Everyone I've met here has praised my beauty, but only you care whether I'm cold or not."
She stepped forward and hugged Wen Shuqiao: "Good sister! If you were a man, I would want to marry you."
Wen Shuqiao hugged her back: "You're very pretty. The dress is just an accessory; you're even more beautiful in person."
Zhong Qi let go of her and said, "If you had said this as your first sentence, I would have been happy, but now I just think you're like a straight woman trying to make amends."
Wen Shuqiao blinked, and Zhong Qi didn't press her further: "Don't worry, I brought a long down jacket, which I left at the front desk. It will cover you from head to toe, so you definitely won't be cold."
Wen Shuqiao nodded: "Okay."
Zhong Qi took her hand and said, "I saw some models I know. Come on, let me introduce you to them. Maybe we can even work together later."
Wen Shuqiao hummed in agreement: "Okay, but I'm not very good at talking."
"What sweet talk do you need to say when you meet someone?" Zhong Qi said, "Does your brother-in-law spend all his time being showered with your sweet words?"
Wen Shuqiao opened her mouth, then said, "Actually, that day..."
Before she could finish speaking, Zhong Qi was already greeting her.

Wen Shuqiao exited WeChat and then felt someone sit down next to her.
She turned her head and saw Yan Ge, the model who had just greeted Xie Jingbei.
Yan Ge turned his head to look at her. Wen Shuqiao was just about to greet him politely when she heard Yan Ge say, "I remember who you are."
