Extra world four
This is the third planet called Earth that Wilson has found.
The first Earth he found was a planet with an advanced civilization. The race walking on it called themselves dinosaurs, with huge heads and slightly short limbs.
They showed an extreme desire for knowledge when seeing a being that was obviously an advanced civilization coming to their planet.
Wilson looked at the spaceships flying high in the sky and asked the dinosaur who was responsible for receiving him, "Are there any humans here?"
"Human?" The dinosaur was stunned for a moment, its pupils shrinking from their original round shape to an extremely long and narrow line. "What is that thing?"
He probably mistook 'human' for something else. After noticing that something was wrong with the expression of this high-level race in front of him, he quickly added: "But we will definitely try our best to find it! As long as you tell us what this thing looks like!"
It's just a race. Wilson answered the other person's question in his mind.
Even he knew only that there were men and women living on that planet, that their race could be collectively called humans, and that they had a different way of nurturing life than the Zerg. He knew only that they had coined the word "love," but he couldn't clearly define what love was.
"Nothing, no need to look for it." So Wilson gave up the idea of explaining to the other party and got back on the boat.
The little black ball waiting on the spaceship looked at Wilson who started the spaceship directly after coming up. He did not ask the other party whether he found what he wanted, because the other party's face was too ugly.
There are indeed humans on the second planet called Earth, but they all live underground.
Human over-exploitation has turned the sky an ominous gray, and the people here are pale and emaciated. They happily call Wilson, who can come down from above to find them without any equipment, a "savior."
Wilson glanced at the skinny guys and asked with some doubt, "Are they human?"
"We are humanity! The saviors!" someone said hoarsely, "Since you can survive on a ground filled with toxic gas, you can surely find a way to get us out!"
After he said this, eager eyes all turned to Wilson. The female insects didn't understand why they would pin their hopes on someone who was obviously not of their species. He felt that Arisa would probably not stay on a planet that looked like it was about to die, but he still asked, "What happened to this planet before?"
After hearing what they had done to their planet, the 'savior' stood up and resumed his journey. Just as he hadn't bothered to explain to the dinosaurs that there were no humans on that planet, Wilson had no intention of telling them that he wasn't the savior they had envisioned.
Now this is the third planet called Earth.
But the races on this Earth reacted quickly. Not long after Wilson left the spaceship, he received the news that the spaceship had been taken away by the races on this planet.
Wilson, who carried the little black ball with him this time, had a premonition: he might be about to find Arisa.
Wilson embarks on a journey to find Arisa.
The condition of this planet is not good, but it does not seem to be as bad as the previous planet also called Earth.
Wilson had encountered beings with completely different body structures from his own. Those guys asked him if he was a foreigner, otherwise why would his eyes be golden and his hair be silver.
The implication of "you are an alien" hidden in these guys' words was too strong, so Wilson was very cautious and did not answer their questions.
"Let's take a picture, then?" Seeing that he didn't answer, the beings continued to ask him, "Is it okay? Please~"
The arms of these beings were very thin, so Wilson, who felt that he could twist off their arms if anything went wrong, hesitated only briefly before giving his answer: "Yes."
Then he heard a 'click' sound, and he and the other person were frozen in a small square.
Wilson: ?
"Can I post this on social media?" the person is now asking him. "Our social media platform, like... Facebook!"
Wilson didn't understand what she meant by what she said, so he just nodded and said okay.
——He continued on his journey to find Arisa.
There is no direction and no precise goal.
Wilson didn't know whether this time the outcome would be failure like before, or whether he would successfully find Arisa.
The little black ball on his shoulder was learning the common language, and its body became more fluffy due to the gravity of the earth. It was already very different from the appearance of the star flower. But every time Wilson stopped and turned around to see it, he felt that things didn't seem so bad.
He would find Arisa eventually, one day.
During this search, Wilson learned that there are two genders on Earth: male and female, but they can be collectively referred to as humans. He also learned that humans can start wars based on differences in skin color, speech patterns, and behavior, and he also learned about humans' eating habits.
But as he gained answers, Wilson's doubts also intensified.
People have different views on things like love.
Some people think that love means being able to forgive the other person no matter what they do, some people think that love can help both oneself and the other person to improve each other, and some people think that the love advocated in this era is no longer the pure love at the beginning.
After three years, Wilson finally found Arisa.
The other party had already retracted its wings. Compared with the female insects with white hair and golden eyes who were always asked whether they were albinos or foreigners, it looked like a real human being.
Arisa stood among the elderly, telling them with familiarity that while she didn't have a lover, she had no plans to get married. Wilson stopped a little further away, looking at the bone spur Arisa had hung around her neck. He watched as the voice next to her stopped, then looked in his direction.
—Say something, Wilson said to himself.
He could talk about the countless space jumps he'd experienced in the universe, the countless moments of joy followed by disappointment, and he could tell Arisa about all the things he'd experienced along the way. He could also, as he had thought countless times before, say to Arisa the "I love you" he had prepared for so long.
But he didn't say those words; Wilson just walked past.
"I missed you so much." Then he said to Arisa.
Arisa realized that she was next to her sooner than Wilson thought.
He had arrived on this planet over a decade ago. Although he had retracted his wings, making himself appear to be of the same species as these humans, he still clung to his psychic energy. This habit had saved him from much trouble. Although the humans on this planet were less capable than him in combat, some would still throw bottles around when drunk, and others would drive their cars recklessly in the middle of the night.
Because of this habit, he was aware of Wilson's presence when he appeared.
The male wondered absentmindedly if the female would come after searching for so long, and what she would say to him then. He suspected Wilson might stride over to him, even if someone else was with him, and take him aside. Perhaps she would say she had learned to love, or perhaps Wilson would tell him about the events that had occurred in the Zerg since he left.
But Wilson didn't say what he thought. Wilson just said to him, "I miss you very much."
It was because of Wilson's words that Arisa pulled him out from the crowd of onlookers and led him to a corner.
"Have you learned what love is now?" Arisa looked at the small black ball on Wilson's shoulder.
After the deep union, the female insect was completely open to the male insect, so Wilson didn't hide anything, nor did he think of hiding his intentions. "I asked Eisman to help me create its body. Its body contains the consciousness of the Laer Roland people. They are born to run around in search of a good body."
The little black ball puffed out his chest.
"I told it that if it helped me figure out what true love looked like," Wilson explained, "I would give it a body that was truly its own."
Arisa listened patiently. His temper had improved a lot since he got rid of the responsibilities that every Zerg had to bear since birth.
"I still don't know what love is," Wilson said softly, looking down at the male insect, "because humans have so many and complicated explanations for it."
"I plan to let it figure out what love is," Wilson said, pointing to the small black ball on his shoulder. "Until then, can I stay with you?"
"Wilson, that's different from what I said," Arisa said, shaking his head with a smile. "I said 'after you learn true love'."
Wilson looked at him, then sat down directly next to Arisa.
The same scene as on the starship made Arisa's brows twitch: "What do you want to do?"
"It doesn't matter. It's not the first time I've been hypocritical." Arisa looked much better now than she did on the pirate ship, so Wilson boldly said what he really wanted to say. "I'm going to stay by your side anyway. I don't care if you refuse."
He could no longer bear to be separated from Arisa. While searching for her, he kept telling himself that the Zerg had a much longer lifespan than other species, and that as long as he kept searching, he would eventually find her. But when he and Arisa actually met, his restless heart told him he didn't want to continue the search.
Just because his lifespan is much longer than other races doesn't mean he can let go of Arisa again.
There are no pirates, no Federation or Empire, and no other Zerg on this Earth. He just wants to stay with Arisa longer.
"Are you trying to threaten me now?" Arisa's eyes narrowed. "Wilson."
"I didn't!" Wilson answered subconsciously. The next second, when he wanted to turn around to explain, he felt the male insect's hand on his hair, rubbing it gently.
It was strange. When Wilson had taken her abducted her on the pirates' starship, Arisa had said this in utter anger. But now, seeing Wilson like this, Arisa said this again with a hint of relief.
He had no intention of reminding Wilson. Different parenting styles might lead to different understandings of love, and the answers given would likely be different. So the little black ball might never find true love.
When he first said the words "true love" to Wilson, he just wanted him to keep a thought in his mind, not to really do it. But now Wilson was right in front of him, and he didn't know how many times he had experienced space jumps.
Anyway, there are no pirates, no empire, and no federation now.
And there are only two of them among the Zerg living on this planet.
"I promise you," Arisa said, "Now come with me, we have to solve your household registration problem next."
