World Four
Arisa's first satisfaction came from seeing the arrogant male insect die at the hands of another low-level male insect.
The second satisfaction came from seeing a letter from the military academy on his terminal. His name was written at the front, informing him that he had passed the school's assessment and asked him to report to the school in five days.
The first satisfaction allowed Arisa to advance from a low-level male insect to a mid-level male insect, and the second satisfaction allowed him to enter a military academy where most of the students were female insects.
At this point, Arisa hadn't yet realized that male and female insects had different body structures, and that even a low-level female could easily kill a high-level male with her innate strength. Like a battle fanatic, he asked every female insect he met if he could fight, but the answer was always a refusal.
It cannot be said to be a direct rejection. It was an expression of affirmation of his courage and praise for his seriousness before rejecting him.
Then Arisa successfully found Wilson, an outlier among female insects, who was called a violent maniac by most female insects.
Wilson also expressed deep incomprehension of Arisa's behavior as a male insect asking a female insect to beat him, but he did not directly refuse like other female insects.
Wilson just stared at Arisa for a moment. Then, after hearing Arisa's repeated assurances that no one from the Male Insect Protection Association would come knocking, he agreed to this request, which could ruin his reputation in both the Federation and the Empire. "Okay, where do you want to fight?"
Arisa looked around and saw the worried looks from the male and female insects. She decided to prove that she wasn't that fragile. "Let's fight here."
After Wilson said the word "OK", he ignored the exclamations of the surrounding Zerg and rushed forward.
That duel could indeed be described as brutal, but both the brutal and brutal aspects referred to Arisa.
Wilson had never had any experience fighting against a male insect, so even though he deliberately restrained the strength in his hands, he still broke the male insect's ribs with one punch, and there were more than one.
Some of the Zergs watching nearby rushed to Arisa, and some rushed to Wilson.
The group in front whispered to the male insect how he felt and loudly condemned Wilson, who was fighting against him, for being too ignorant.
The group behind angrily asked Wilson what was going on. Didn’t he know that male insects are very weak?
Wilson didn't say anything. He watched the male insect struggle to stand up, then wipe the blood off his face and stagger to his side.
Amidst a sea of astonishment, the black-haired female insect extended her hand towards the high-ranking female insect she had just met. "What's your terminal number? Let's add each other as friends."
Wouldn't it be better not to get so excited when you saw that wanted poster?
Is it better to choose your own female servant and female lord after entering the military academy?
- Wouldn't it have been better not to talk to Wilson in the first place?
Arisa didn't know the answers to these questions. He only knew that the "freedom from shackles" he had always believed in never existed, but he didn't intend to regret his useless efforts.
He could apologize to the male Zerg he disliked after realizing that Zerg society was nothing more than male Zerg oppressing female Zerg, and higher-ranking Zerg oppressing lower-ranking Zerg. He could also pick himself up after realizing that his previous behavior was nothing more than walking from a small cage into a large one.
...he can do it.
He can definitely do it.
"I want to get out." After figuring out the key, Arisa took a deep breath and spoke to the consciousness that carried Wilson's memories of the Military Academy, word by word, "Now."
"Okay." Wilson nodded and agreed.
"Before I leave, I have to meet Gayel again," Arisa added.
Wilson, who had just said "OK", immediately frowned, as if he wanted to say something but didn't know how to say it.
Arisa looked at Wilson, a hint of confusion on her face. "Not only Wilson, but you also don't want me to see Gayel in the spiritual sea. Why is that?"
"I don't know why either." Wilson relaxed his brows immediately after meeting Arisa's gaze. "Maybe it's because I subconsciously feel that he has led me down a bad path, and I don't want you to follow the same path."
"Even if you don't want to," Arisa said noncommittally, "I can't return to the Federation now."
After knowing what was going on, he was unlikely to let Wilson, a Zerg, stay with the pirates.
If Wilson kidnapped him for this reason, then causing the female insects to riot might not be as simple as Wilson mentioned, "using this as an excuse to protest."
"...Okay, if you must see him." Wilson lowered his head and thought for a moment before giving his answer, "You can see him, but only from a distance."
"Okay." Arisa originally just wanted to see what Gayel looked like in Wilson's spiritual sea, and he had no intention of meeting Gayel face to face.
After knowing that it was this guy who wrote the thing that made Wilson what he is now, he has reached the point where he even hates Gayel's non-entity.
But Arisa was soon glad that she had agreed to Wilson's request to "just watch from a distance" because she saw a sticky mass of Gayel that looked like the kind of food preferred by male insects.
Arisa's eyes widened: ...Is that guy really Gayaru?
Compared with other Zerg in Wilson's mind, both the external appearance and the two pairs of eyes well interpret the word "alien".
"Okay, you've finished reading. I'm going to get you out now." Wilson said as he stood in front of Arisa. In order to get the male insect to look away, he even changed the subject. "Have you thought about what you want to talk to me about?"
"Not yet." Arisa did indeed look away.
His mind was in a mess, but he was sure that the situation between him and Wilson would no longer be as tense as before.
"I think I'll definitely forget this memory by then." Wilson looked at Arisa. As a Zerg who had previously noticed something was wrong with the male, he could certainly now also perceive the change in the male, and it was a good change. "I'm starting to envy him a little now."
"You don't have to envy him," Arisa said, "He's never called me Lord before."
"—Then let him envy me a little more." Wilson whispered, "Can you lower your head?"
Arisa didn't lower his head. He just said, "I'm really annoyed by your behavior of not telling me what you want to do, Wilson. There are some things you have to say, otherwise I will never guess what you are thinking."
"I'm... not very good at talking about these things, and I'm afraid you'll get angry." Wilson looked at him and explained in a low voice, "My ideas are too unconventional. I don't want to see you look unhappy because of them."
"But the fact that you kidnapped me from the battlefield already makes me very unhappy." Arisa frowned. "Or do you think... compared to me knowing that you want to monopolize me, you can accept my displeasure with you because I don't know anything more?"
"No matter which of these two unhappy emotions is greater, it can't change the fact that you've made me uncomfortable." Arisa continued, "Besides, if you don't tell me, I will try to figure out what happened on my own, and knowing the truth will make me even more unhappy."
"Because after knowing the truth, I no longer have the right to be angry with you." Arisa said coldly, "Don't you think this matter was wrong from the beginning?"
How could he rightfully lose his temper with Wilson now? Was he going to blame Wilson for wanting to possess him after reading those books? After he had seen Wilson sink into self-condemnation and pain?
"I understand." Wilson whispered, "But you can lose your temper with me without any scruples, Lord."
"I don't have the bad taste to get satisfaction from bullying you." Arisa sighed, "So what exactly do you want to do by making me bow my head? Tell me now, Wilson."
The tall female insect licked her lips, a rare hint of hesitation in her golden pupils: "I..."
That inner voice echoed in Arisa's ears again.
—'I want to kiss you.'
"I can't read your mind, Wilson." Arisa said this without blushing or beating her heart. "And you can only know my answer if you speak it out loud."
"You can't presume to speculate on my thoughts, and you can't take your unfounded speculation as fact." Arisa looked at Wilson, as if she wanted to completely imprint this sentence into the female insect's golden pupils. "So now tell me, what exactly do you want me to do by lowering my head?"
"Don't you want him to envy you?" Arisa reached out and held Wilson's face. "What do you want me to do?"
“…You have to learn to speak out.”
"I want..." Wilson stared at Arisa, gritted his teeth, and said loudly, "—I want to kiss you!"
After saying this, he seemed to have broken free from some shackles. Unlike his usual calm demeanor, Wilson's face even revealed a hint of urgency: "I also hope that you can respond to my call of you, Lord!"
"I think... I also want you to remember me as I am now, and never forget me." Wilson continued, "Even if this memory is eventually merged with that me, I hope you can see us as two different Zerg."
"Okay," Arisa lowered her head and responded to him, "I promise you."
Just before leaving, Arisa released his spiritual power. But unlike before, this time he released his spiritual power not to hurt the female insect, but to comfort her.
Wilson could feel a gentle breeze passing by his lips.
It felt like a caress, or a gentle kiss, but when he raised his head to see what it was, he saw nothing.
He shook his head, not understanding why he was in this place, but he remembered that he should go find Arisa now.
Outside the sea of consciousness, a female insect with the same face as his opened her eyes, and he saw the book that was pressed against his chest.
The female insect slowly raised her head and saw Arisa with a shackle around her neck, looking down at her condescendingly.
"...Okay, now it's time to settle the score, Wilson." Arisa said as he tugged at the mechanical lock on his neck. However, he only had time to finish his harsh words before he subconsciously tugged at the mechanical lock on his neck again, "——Hmm?"
What's going on? Why does he suddenly feel that his mental power can flow freely?
"I... have fixed this mechanical lock." Wilson noticed his confusion and looked away. "Now it can only prevent you from breaking through your current level and conceal your male insect aura."
The so-called "no use of mental power" function is now gone.
When he was repairing the mechanical lock, he remembered Arisa who was angry at that time, so he cancelled this function.
He didn't know whether this choice was right or wrong, but he didn't want Arisa to be angry.
"You..." Arisa looked at Wilson, feeling as if he was about to start a war but suddenly saw the other side raise the white flag. He couldn't help but ask, "Are your memories in sync with those in your spiritual sea?"
He had just had an argument with Wilson before he stepped into Wilson's spiritual sea.
Wilson knew what Arisa really wanted to ask, so he replied, "Only after you leave can I synchronize your memories in my spiritual sea."
"I fixed this mechanical lock a while ago." Wilson looked at the black-haired male Zerg and suddenly remembered the kiss on his lips in his mind's sea, and the words 'I am your male master'. He felt a strange sense of displeasure, displeasure towards his other self. "...I am who I am. We are of the same Zerg race."
If he had known this would be the result, he would have told Arisa about his plan directly from the beginning, and would never have let someone else take advantage of it.
And he actually called Arisa "Lord", and Arisa actually responded to him!
Why! Why!
