“I’m not her brother.” Xu Zhengxi curled his lips into a wicked smile. “I’m her boyfriend.”
With a loud crack, it seemed as if the hospital room ceiling, floor, and all four walls had split open, and the world became a place Qin Yuyang didn't recognize.
Boyfriend?! Xu Zhe's brother is her boyfriend?!
Xu Zhe transferred to Beidu High School in her second year of high school, and her older brother always attended her parent-teacher conferences! Now, she's telling him that her boyfriend is the one attending the conferences?!

The three detectors next to the hospital bed sounded alarms simultaneously.
Xu Zhe was startled by the sound of the instruments and didn't know what to do. Doctors and nurses rushed in and surrounded Qin Yuyang.
Xu Zhengxi grabbed Xu Zhe's hand and led her out of the ward.
"He's just emotionally agitated; there won't be any major problems." Xu Zhengxi wasn't trying to comfort her; he was simply stating a fact. He didn't want to see her looking so distraught.
Xu Zhe saw through the glass of the ward door that the doctors and nurses had slowed down their movements and the sounds of the instruments had returned to normal, and only then did he believe what he had said.
"Why...?" Xu Zhe frowned, his eyes filled with anger as he looked at Xu Zhengxi.
"Why are you being so direct?" Xu Zhengxi interrupted her. "He's trying to steal my man, do you expect me to be any more subtle?!"
Xu Zhe choked.
Xu Zhengxi composed herself, regaining her aloof demeanor: "Should I take you to school? Or do you want to stay?"
Xu Zhe replied without hesitation: "I want to stay."
"Okay, three days off, I approve."
After Xu Zhengxi finished speaking, she turned and left. If she wanted to take care of this kid, let her. Give her time to make up for her guilt; she'd punish her properly in three days!
After saving two students, Su Nan and Bei Xiaoyu, from skipping class, Chen Cheng spent another day working with his superiors.
I finally made it to the end of the workday, and as soon as I stepped out of the company compound, I saw the familiar black Jeep.
Chen Cheng strode over, opened the car door, and sat in the passenger seat.
Si Kangzhu's resolute face looked as if he was about to do something big.
He started the Jeep and said two words to the passenger: "Go home!"
