Chapter 151 This ungrateful bastard!

The enthusiastic elderly folks led the way to Bei Xiaoyu's house.

Liang Shaojie's financial power meant he had a group of people supporting him wherever he went. When this domineering CEO visited the village, it was like a high-ranking official inspecting the area.

Walk 500 meters south from the main road in the village, then turn right onto the side road and you'll reach the third house there.

The house faces a large carrot field, with greenhouses stretching as far as the eye can see, a vast expanse of white, with no end in sight.

Liang Shaojie knocked on the iron gate in front of the house, but apart from the barking of the dogs in the yard, no one answered.

"We don't knock on doors here!"

The old man took two steps back and shouted into the yard:

"Old Bei—! Old Bei—open the door!"

After a while, the dogs in the yard quieted down, and the sound of unhurried footsteps could be heard.

The iron gate creaked open, and an old man with a ruddy complexion and gray hair stood inside.

He was wearing a military overcoat, his eyes lined with wrinkles, and he looked in surprise at the large, noisy crowd at the door, as if the whole village had come.

"What?!" he asked the old man who was knocking on the door, his gaze sweeping over Liang Shaojie and the other unfamiliar faces.

"Little Rain's friend is here to see her!" The old man at the door laughed so hard his eyes sparkled.

Little Rain's friend is so generous; he gave him good cigarettes and red banknotes!

"He is Xiaoyuwawa's uncle," the old man introduced to Liang Shaojie.

Uncle Xiaoyu glanced at Liang Shaojie, took a half step back, and was about to close the door.

"Uncle!" Liang Shaojie hurriedly reached out to pull the door open.

Uncle Xiaoyu ignored everything and just wanted to close the door, but the farmer tried his best to push it open.

"Ah!" Liang Shaojie cried out in pain as his right hand, which was gripping the door frame, was pinched hard.

"Ouch!" the old man at the door exclaimed. "Old Bei, you're a guest, how could you hurt someone like that!"

"Yes, Lao Bei, these kids have come all the way from Lingnan, we can't just kick them out like this!" The onlookers also advised.

Uncle Xiaoyu glanced at Liang Shaojie's trembling hand and opened the door to let them in.

The elderly men and women from the same village also wanted to come in, but Xiaoyu's uncle slammed the door shut again.

"That old man, Berlusconi!"

"I've always had this stubborn temper."

The elderly men and women dispersed, grumbling as they went.

Uncle Xiaoyu led the people into the main living room, then put tobacco in his pipe and lit it with a match.

"What are your friends with Little Rain?" Little Rain's uncle exhaled a smoke ring.

Liang Shaojie stepped forward: "These three are Xiaoyu's classmates and roommates. I am her boyfriend."

Uncle Xiaoyu choked on a mouthful of smoke, unable to swallow or spit it out, his dark red face instantly turning purplish-red.

Seeing that something was wrong, Xu Zhe reminded him, "Uncle, are you feeling unwell? Adjust your breathing!"

A puff of white smoke came out of Uncle Xiaoyu's mouth, and he immediately bent over and coughed incessantly.

"You're her boyfriend?!" Xiaoyu's uncle recovered and rushed to Liang Shaojie, grabbing his collar.

"You bastard! You have a wife and a child, and you still want to ruin my Yuwa!"

"How dare you come to my house looking for Yuwa! I'll take you with me if I don't care about my own life!"

Si Xingzhu instinctively tried to break up the fight, but Xu Zhe held her back.

Xu Zhe shook his head at her twice. This was a problem Liang Shaojie had to face; he could handle it himself.

Liang Shaojie did not resist, letting Xiaoyu's uncle pull at his clothes.

"Uncle, I'm not married. That woman is slandering Xiaoyu."

Liang Shaojie explained to Xiaoyu's uncle in a calm tone.

"Really?!" Uncle Xiaoyu's grip loosened slightly, and the gloom in his eyes brightened a little.

"Really! I can give you a certificate of being unmarried! Also, Xiaoyu has excellent grades; she was first in her grade in the midterm exam, and the school even posted a commendation for her on the school website. I'll find it for you later!"

With his clear, affectionate peach blossom eyes, Liang Shaojie kept casting an expression of innocence and goodwill at Uncle Xiaoyu.

Su Nan, Xu Zhe, and Si Xingzhu nodded in agreement, confirming that Liang Shaojie's words were true.

Uncle Xiaoyu finally let go of him, raised his pipe and took several deep drags.

A long plume of white smoke billowed out of his mouth, as if he were expelling all the pent-up frustration he had been holding in for so long.

He suddenly slammed his hand on the table: "I knew it! How could my kid be bad! Hahahaha!"

The loud laughter made the two-story building shake.

Xu Zhe and Su Nan breathed a sigh of relief, while Si Xingzhu, infected by Xiao Yu's uncle's laughter, also burst into laughter.

Xu Zhe: "......"

You're everywhere...

Liang Shaojie's face showed a rare relaxation: "Uncle, where's Xiaoyu?"

Uncle Xiaoyu put down his pipe and went up the stairs.

Taking advantage of the break, Liang Shaojie called his assistant and gave him a thorough explanation.

"You're here~" Bei Xiaoyu came down the stairs, her round face and round glasses looking unchanged.

Xu Zhe and Su Nan were about to go over and take her hand when they were forcefully pulled away from behind.

Liang Shaojie strode up to Bei Xiaoyu and pulled her into his arms.

Si Xingzhu giggled incessantly.

Xu Zhe and Su Nan glared at Liang Shaojie, thinking, "What a ungrateful bastard!"

"Oh dear! No, no, no!" Uncle Xiaoyu rushed down the stairs and pulled Liang Shaojie away.

"You're such a grown man, you should know better! My Yuwa is still a child!"

Bei Xiaoyu lowered her head, her face flushed. Being held in Liang Shaojie's arms in front of her uncle was indeed quite embarrassing.

"Your uncle didn't do anything to you, did he?!" Liang Shaojie kept looking the person in front of him up and down. He was unharmed and hadn't lost weight; he looked perfectly fine.

"Hey?!" Uncle Xiaoyu exclaimed, "How could I possibly mistreat my own niece?!"

Bei Xiaoyu tugged at her uncle's sleeve, signaling him to calm down.

“It’s nothing, my uncle treats me very well! He just heard the rumors in the village and called me back under the pretense of illness. As soon as I got back, he locked me in the house to prevent me from going back to Lingnan to seduce other people’s husbands.”

After Bei Xiaoyu finished speaking, her uncle's face turned red and then dark.

"I'm just worried you'll get scammed by bad people!" Uncle Xiaoyu glanced at his niece's expression, his voice lacking confidence.

"It's not easy for your friends to come all this way, so I'll go and prepare a few dishes to treat them properly!"

Uncle Xiaoyu went to the kitchen with a smile, not forgetting to remind her, "Yuwa, don't hug or kiss him! I haven't finished evaluating him yet!"

Bei Xiaoyu smiled and nodded, and Liang Shaojie's heart skipped a beat. A wave of immense grievance washed over him; he had been worried sick ever since last night!

I finally saw her, and I wanted to pull her into my body, but I was told I couldn't hug her?!

He can tolerate not kissing, but he can't tolerate not hugging!

Seeing Xiaoyu's uncle enter the kitchen, Liang Shaojie hugged him again.

Su Nan and Xu Zhe showed him expressions of disgust.

Liang Shaojie chuckled: "They're all on our side."

"By the way, after you finish eating, take the plane back."

Su Nan and Xu Zhe wanted to extort money from him, but they really are ungrateful!

Liang Shaojie explained, "It's not about crossing the river and burning the bridge. I arranged for my assistant to bring lawyers and witnesses over. The plane will take you back and pick them up."

Bei Xiaoyu's round head popped out from Liang Shaojie's arms: "What witness?"

Liang Shaojie's eyes turned cold. Ha!
