Zou Kai was shocked and firmly supported the person who had fallen over.
"Shi Le! What's wrong with you?!"
Liang Shile threw himself into the broad, thick chest of the special police officer and never wanted to leave.
"I'm a little dizzy," she mumbled, her entire weight resting on Zou Kai.
She is not afraid of falling; the strong arms of the special police are reliable and dependable, and the people will always trust her!
Afraid that she would fall, Zou Kai changed his position and completely embraced her.
"Are you drunk?" He lowered his head and sniffed, but couldn't smell any alcohol.
Liang Shile felt him sniffing him and was filled with regret. He should have drunk some more beforehand; that would have made the scene more real!
"My head... is a little dizzy~" Her clever little brain quickly found a solution.
"It seems... I ate something I shouldn't have." Liang Shile snuggled into Zou Kai's arms, her delicate features scrunched up, looking extremely uncomfortable.
"I'll take you to the hospital!"
Zou Kai grabbed the person and started to leave, but after only a few steps, the person next to him fell to the ground.
"No, I'm not going to the hospital!"
Liang Shile had been on Zou Kai for quite a while, and her face was already flushed with excitement, which Zou Kai considered an abnormal flush!
He couldn't help but speculate on the worst-case scenario: Liang Shile had been drugged!
"Zou Kai, take me away from here. I'll be fine after a good night's sleep. I don't want to go to the hospital." Liang Shile pretended to be in pain while secretly observing Zou Kai's expression.
Zou Kai made no attempt to hide his anxiety and worry, and the strong muscles in his arms were taut as he held Liang Shile even tighter.
"Take me away from here, quick!" Liang Shile urged, his breathing rapid, as he wrapped his arms around Zou Kai's neck and pressed himself against him.
Zhou Kai pulled his arm around the person, picked them up horizontally, and walked out of the hotel.
"Where do you live?" He settled her in the back seat of the jeep and turned to ask her.
Liang Shile remained silent, seemingly asleep, and did not answer him.
Seeing that she was just asleep and there were no other problems, Zou Kai gave up the idea of going to the hospital, gritted his teeth, and drove towards his home.
The person in the back seat smiled triumphantly.
Zou Kai's house is right next to the special police team, one of the units in a six-story residential building. After he started working in Lingnan, his parents used all their savings to buy him this small two-bedroom apartment.
Although the house is a bit old, it is close to his workplace, and his neighbors are all from the same system, so the community environment is well maintained.
Zou Kai parked the car and was wondering how to get the person upstairs when Liang Shile, half asleep and half awake, wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her upper body against him.
He had no choice but to abandon the method of helping her up and instead carried her in a princess carry, lifting her up steadily.
"Zou Kai?"
Before he even entered the building, he ran into a neighbor. He then realized that everyone in the building, both upstairs and downstairs, was a familiar face from the same workplace!
"Auntie~" Zou Kai lowered his head, wishing he could bury his face.
"What's wrong with your girlfriend?" the neighbor asked as she came over to look at Liang Shile.
Liang Shile forcefully suppressed the corners of her lips that were turning up, kept her eyelids still, and tilted her head slightly to the side to show her beautiful sleeping face to the neighbor aunt.
"No, it's not..." Zou Kai tried to explain that she wasn't his girlfriend.
"Wow, what a pretty girl!" The neighbor aunt didn't listen to his explanation at all and stared Liang Shile in the eye.
"So pretty! Zou Kai, you have good taste!"
Zou Kai: "Auntie, it really isn't..."
"No wonder you wouldn't even meet Aunt Zhang when she introduced you to her; it turns out you have such a beautiful girlfriend!"
The neighbor aunt didn't give him a chance to explain at all, and after talking to herself for a while, she walked away quickly to gossip with her old friends.
Retirees usually find amusement in gossiping, so Zou Kai quietly brought his girlfriend home; he must be spreading the word throughout the neighborhood.
Watching his neighbor's hurried back, Zou Kai knew he was doomed; tomorrow at work, a bunch of people would come to ask him questions.
He looked down at the sleeping person, smiled helplessly, and continued upstairs.
After climbing three flights of stairs, Zou Kai stood in front of his house, holding the person in one arm, using the other to open the door. He didn't even notice the person in his arms's eyes darting around, or the barely suppressed smile on their lips.
Holding someone with one hand, so steadily and effortlessly—the physical fitness of a SWAT officer is truly extraordinary! Liang Shile secretly rejoiced; she was eating too well!
Once inside the house, Zou Kai still had one arm around Liang Shile while using the other to take off her high heels.
Then she carried her to the place she had been most looking forward to: Zou Kai's bedroom!
"Hmm? Where is this?"
The person woke up as soon as Zou Kai settled him on the big bed.
His eyelids were slowly opening and closing, perfectly expressing the dazed feeling of just waking up.
"This is my home. I didn't know your address, so I brought you here first." Zou Kai's face turned dark red, both shy and afraid of being misunderstood as having ulterior motives.
Liang Shile couldn't be happier that he had ulterior motives!
"I'll take you home now." Zou Kai turned to get his car keys. "Where do you live?"
Liang Shile: "..." How can you bring someone home, have them lying in bed, and then send them back without doing anything to them?!
She even began to doubt whether she lacked charm, because even the most stubborn man wouldn't do such a thing!
"Let's go." When Zou Kai didn't see her come out, he went back to the bedroom and called her.
Liang Shile's lips were so pouty they could hang clothes on them. She was utterly speechless; why was Plus urging her to leave?!
"I'm not leaving." Her voice was low, but her tone was firm and revealed her displeasure.
Zou Kai frowned and walked in.
Liang Shile was so disheartened that he simply gave up entirely.
"I've been drugged with a top-grade aphrodisiac, and there's no medical cure! The only cure is this drug, which is administered to a SWAT officer named Zou Kai who's 190cm tall. Otherwise, I'll die within 24 hours, bleeding from all seven orifices!"
After saying that, she felt it was absurd and shameless, so she lowered her head and refused to look at him.
Zou Kai's furrowed brows smoothed out, and he couldn't help but smile.
"If so, how should it be treated?"
"What?!" Liang Shile looked up abruptly.
"How can I help you get treatment?"
Zou Kai was tall and slender, his imposing figure almost blocking out the light above Liang Shile's head.
Beneath the cotton sweatshirt, the bulging muscles were impossible to conceal. His broad chest heaved, and a strong aura of hormones filled the space with each breath.
Liang Shile blushed and her heart pounded. She could no longer control herself and jumped onto the person in front of her, kissing those lips that had always been cold to her before.
Zou Kai was stunned for a moment, the soft, fragrant touch instantly melting him. His mind was still hazy, so he pulled his arms together to support the person on top of him.
Liang Shile received a response and boldly began to eat! Like a demon finally getting to eat Tang Sanzang's flesh...
...........
Spring has finally arrived for Liang Shile. The ice and snow have melted, and spring flowers are blooming, their crimson petals dotting the white bedsheets.
