"Did you learn your impatient nature from me?!"
Xu Zhengxi finally paused, burying his head in her hair on the side of her neck and chuckling.
"What are you laughing at?" Xu Zhe nudged his shoulder.
"We haven't seen each other for so long, and they didn't even exchange pleasantries before going straight to being completely honest with each other. How awkward!"
Xu Zhengxi propped herself up, resting her elbows on either side of Xu Zhe:
"Are you embarrassed?"
"A little."
"How should we greet each other?"
Xu Zhe met his eyes: "How have you been lately? How are you doing? Have you missed me? Have you eaten?"
Xu Zhengxi's lips curved upwards, her eyes fixed on the mischievous child.
"How have you been lately? How are you doing? Have you...?"
"Want to eat me?"
"Cough..." Xu Zhe choked on his question.
"What?!"
Xu Zhengxi moved his body slightly, propped one hand on his cheek, and lay down next to her.
"I only have one day off. It took me twelve hours to fly here, and I'll be flying back for another twelve hours later."
"Later?" Xu Zhe stood up, frowning. "How much later?"
Three hours.
"What?!" Xu Zhe sat up. "Xu Zhengxi, are you crazy?! Flying 24 hours round trip just to spend three hours here?!"
"Hmm." Xu Zhengxi shifted his lying position, now face up. "Too busy. The Northwest Province's economy is accelerating, and they need me so much. With great power comes great responsibility!"
Xu Zhe: "......" I know you're showing off, but I can't seem to refute it.
“Three hours…” she sighed softly, then leaned in and pressed forward!
