Su Nan reacted the fastest and asked Instructor Liu for help:
"Instructor, Xu Zhe is injured in his left thigh."
"What first aid methods can be used to alleviate her pain?"
Instructor Liu remained seated to the side, glanced at Su Nan, and then leisurely took out a cigarette case from his pocket.
He lit a cigarette and put it in his mouth.
Only after exhaling a long wisp of white mist did he slowly speak:
"There's not much we can do, just let her bear with it and get her on a stretcher."
Su Nan lowered her eyes. Wilderness first aid is a compulsory course for the military. How could they not have professional methods?
He did it on purpose!
Seeing Instructor Liu's attitude, Bei Xiaoyu immediately took out her phone and searched for relevant information online.
"Patients should not be moved arbitrarily."
"Use branches or planks to immobilize the fractured area."
"Avoid applying force or causing impact to the injured area."
Bei Xiaoyu read them out one by one.
Instructor Xu took a deep drag on his cigarette, then irritably stubbed it out on the muddy ground.
How can you be sure she has a fracture?
Instructor Liu glanced at Bei Xiaoyu and said, "She might be too delicate and can't handle even the slightest fall. Everyone has to carry her down the mountain."
Bei Xiaoyu was getting anxious. How could Instructor Liu be so unable to distinguish right from wrong?
“Xu Zhe isn’t that kind of person!” she retorted.
Instructor Liu snorted:
"So what kind of person is she?"
"Hard work and perseverance? Or proactive and ambitious?"
"I've been training you guys for almost half a month now, and I can see clearly who the slackers are!"
Bei Xiaoyu bit her lip, looking indignant.
Xu Zhe wasn't enthusiastic about military training, but he was definitely not the kind of person who didn't know his place and caused trouble for everyone, as he claimed!
The three male students also looked at Instructor Liu with suspicion.
Instead of taking the injured student to the hospital for emergency treatment, this person was questioning the student.
Su Nan couldn't help herself and stood up abruptly:
"Instructor Liu, are you just making a subjective judgment to conclude that Xu Zhe's injury isn't a fracture but that he's just being delicate?!"
"If a student is injured during training, does the instructor bear absolutely no responsibility?!"
"First aid is a mandatory course for the military. Are you sure you won't provide proper first aid?!"
Su Nan's barrage of questions made Instructor Liu's face turn from black to white.
Su Nan continued:
"If Xu Zhe suffers a leg injury because of your inaction, do you think her parents will let you off the hook?!"
Bei Xiaoyu silently applauded Su Nan.
Every word was meaningful, hitting Instructor Liu's sore spots directly.
Instructor Liu's eyes were sinister, and his face was full of ferocity, as if he might suddenly burst out and rush over to beat Su Nan.
Su Nan stood there without flinching or fear, looking directly into his eyes.
Upon seeing this, the three male students all stood up.
They walked over to Su Nan and stood beside her.
Instructor Liu's jaw was clenched, and his cheeks were bulging. It seemed that after weighing the options several times, he still did not make a move.
Xu Zhe endured the pain and watched everything unfold before him.
It seems that this Instructor Liu wants to get revenge on her for making him lose face in public earlier.
Such a narrow-minded person has truly insulted the word "soldier"!
She looked at the sky; although it wasn't dark yet, the sun had already begun to move westward.
Continuing the stalemate is not a solution, but having the students carry her down the mountain not only risks further injury from falling, but also risks injuring them as well.
After thinking it through, she sent a message to Xu Zhengxi.
After figuring things out in his mind, Instructor Liu spat on the ground and added a "fuck!"
Then he pointed the branch in his hand at Bei Xiaoyu:
"Do as she says."
Su Nan and the three boys lowered their guard and moved closer to Bei Xiaoyu, carefully examining the first aid post on her phone.
Just as they were about to start assigning tasks, they heard Xu Zhe whisper a few words to them.
They were taken aback at first, then sat down beside her.
With his arms and legs outstretched in a relaxed posture, the worry on his face vanished.
Instructor Liu looked at them and sneered: "Idiot students! So arrogant! Do whatever you want!"
The sun veered further west, a cool mountain breeze stirred, and the trees swayed, their leaves trembling.
All that could be heard was a rumbling sound.
From far to near...
