These four words sound like a joke.
But the fact is, Ye Hua is indeed dead.
He died so badly that not even a trace remained.
Su Nian's fourth palm strike, delivered with all her might, shattered Ye Hua's Heavenly Fate Shield, consuming a large amount of his spiritual power and reducing Ye Hua to dust.
He infiltrated the Quanxiu Trial alone, seemingly plotting something, yet he offered no resistance, as if he were genuinely seeking death.

The four followers controlled by Ye Hua were also exposed by the Grand Elder using the same method, and were imprisoned together with the Third Elder.

When Su Nian opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a warm, soft bed.
He regained consciousness quickly and immediately recognized that this was Senior Sister Xu's room. Without any hesitation, he got up, lifted the covers, and prepared to get out of bed.
Hearing the commotion outside, Xu Xinrou hurriedly entered the room. Seeing Su Nian about to get out of bed, she quickly said, "Junior Brother Su! Don't move around. You've exhausted yourself. Why don't you rest and recuperate for a while longer?"
"Where's Ye Hua? Is he dead or not?" Su Nian ignored her and grabbed Xu Xinrou's arm, asking this question.
Xu Xinrou gave a soft "hmm" and said, "He's dead. You killed him. There wasn't even any ashes left."
"Not even ashes were left..." Instead of feeling relieved, Su Nian was even more worried.
How much time has passed now?
"It's been two days already."
"Two days? How did so much time pass by in such a short time?" Su Nian was taken aback.
Xu Xinrou sighed and sat down next to Su Nian, saying softly, "Junior Brother Su, you were a little excited that day and lost control of your emotions, which is why you consumed a lot of spiritual energy."
Su Nian took a deep breath and calmed down.
"Is that so..."
"Mm." Xu Xinrou nodded gently and said softly, "Junior Brother Su, if you feel tired, why don't you rest for a while? Ye Hua is completely dead, so you don't need to worry about him anymore."

A moment later, Su Nian arrived at the Forest of the Other Shore.
He arrived at the place where he had fought Ye Hua two days earlier.
A giant handprint appeared at the exit of the Forest of the Other Shore. He came to the place where Ye Hua died and checked the spiritual energy fluctuations there.
A moment later, Xu Xinrou arrived and saw Su Nian digging three feet into the ground. She didn't say a word, but just quietly watched from the side.
“There’s not a trace of digging. It seems he didn’t manage to escape underground before he died,” Su Nian murmured, then went to Xu Xinrou’s side and asked, “Where are his ashes?”
"Come with me, I'll show you around." Xu Xinrou said, leading Su Nian to the Hall of Law Enforcement.
Su Nian followed and arrived at the Hall of Enforcement, where the Second Elder was also present.
Upon seeing Su Nian arrive, the Second Elder asked with concern, "Su Nian? Are you feeling better?"
"Much better. What about Ye Hua's ashes?"
"I knew you would come to see me after you woke up, so I put it in a box beforehand." The Second Elder said, taking out the urn containing Ye Hua's ashes that he had prepared in advance and handing it to Su Nian.
Su Nian took the urn, opened it to check it again and again, and finally closed her eyes.
A faint blue light appeared in his eyes. He mobilized the power of the Three Lives Stone within his body to examine the past, present, and future lives of the owner of the ashes.
Fragments of Ye Hua's memories appeared in his mind, including his past life and present life, but no future.
He was now absolutely certain that these were Ye Hua's ashes!

Su Nian did not answer, but just frowned deeply, staring at the urn without saying a word.
What exactly does he want to do?
Why doesn't it resist at all?
Was he really here to die?
Is there any possibility that he faked his death?
Or perhaps, this is just a stand-in?
Seeing that Su Nian's brows were tightly furrowed and seemed to be getting tighter, a pair of delicate hands were placed on his brows and massaged them.
Su Nian snapped out of her daze and looked at Xu Xinrou.
Xu Xinrou said gently, "Don't look so gloomy. He should really be dead. Look at you, your eyebrows are all furrowed up."
"...I'm sorry, I just can't shake off my unease."
Xu Xinrou smiled. "Is there anything else you want to confirm? Shall I go with you?"
Su Nian thought for a moment and said to the Second Elder, "Second Elder, shall I have this urn?"
