Chapter 38 He's gone, little princess, you have no savior.

Lin Zeyuan walked out of Luo Tingwei's room with satisfaction, but bumped into Huo Zhizhou. He took the initiative to greet him, but the other party completely ignored him.

Lin Zeyuan was taken aback. Seeing Huo Zhizhou's preoccupied look, he assumed he was just in a bad mood and didn't think much of it.

Knock knock knock.

A knock came at the door.

Luo Tingwei had just finished receiving an infusion of glucose, and her steps were still a little unsteady.

Lin Zeyuan just left, did he leave something behind?

She opened the door and found Huo Zhizhou standing there.

"What's wrong, cousin? Why did you come all of a sudden?"

"What's wrong? You look so pale."

Huo Zhizhou noticed her pale face and had no idea what had just happened.

So Luo Tingwei told him what had happened.

Huo Zhizhou frowned and said meaningfully, "You've only been gone from Li Yanzhou for a day and something happened. This is not a good sign."

Luo Tingwei's expression changed. She hadn't expected him to say that. She didn't pay it any mind and went straight to the point.

"By the way, is there something you need from me, cousin?"

Huo Zhizhou shook the wine in his hand. "I just went to visit my aunt, and it suddenly reminded me of a lot of things from my childhood, so I wanted to come and talk to you about them."

"Want some?"

Before Luo Tingwei could respond, he had already gone to the cabinet and taken out two cups.

Seeing that he had already taken out his cup, Luo Tingwei couldn't refuse his hospitality and agreed to have a few drinks with him.

Huo Zhizhou poured two glasses of wine and started drinking with her.

He was acting strangely today, talking to her in a disjointed way.

He even brought up his past with his wife, which is quite rare for him.

“At the time, your sister-in-law had many concerns and insisted on leaving. I didn’t stop her and let her go. But I never expected that in the end, her father would marry her off to an old man.”

"I hated myself then, why didn't I force her to stay with me?"

Luo Tingwei was quite tipsy, but she still retained some rationality and interrupted him.

"But that would be robbing us by force... We can't do that..."

"How is that any different from that beast Li Yanzhou?"

Huo Zhizhou paused, holding his wine glass, and then sighed. "You keep calling him a beast, so tell me, besides forcing you to stay by his side, has he ever mistreated you in any other way?"

Luo Tingwei felt increasingly dizzy. Holding her cup, she thought for a moment before finally saying, "That's not important. What's important is that from the moment he forced her, everything was already heading in the wrong direction."

After saying that, her eyelids drooped, and her head slumped heavily onto her arm.

When Huo Zhizhou saw her fall, he gently patted her, but Luo Tingwei seemed to be asleep and did not react at all.

The man was silent for a moment, then looked away from her and gazed at the night outside the window, a look of guilt on his face.

"They're young, after all; they have a high sense of morality..."

“You’re in Black City, how are you going to fight him? Even I’m on Figi Island and he can still control me. Just accept your fate, Vivi.”

As a man, he could tell that no matter what, Li Yanzhou wouldn't hurt her.

If he's lucky, he might marry her.

Although everything that happened tonight was immoral, Huo Zhizhou had no other choice.

He helped Luo Tingwei onto the bed and then covered her with the blanket.

"Get some sleep. When you wake up, everything will be over soon."

*

The next day, Luo Tingwei, still in a coma, was packed up and carried onto the plane by two men.

Li Yanzhou sipped his champagne, quietly gazing down at the sleeping woman beside him, his eyes unfathomable.

The next second, champagne was poured over her head.

Luo Tingwei felt the external stimuli and groggily opened her eyes.

What came into view was Li Yanzhou's lazy eyes, which were looking at her with amusement.

When she realized what had happened, she got goosebumps all over her body.

"You...how could you...where is this?"

Luo Tingwei looked around nervously. Where was she...? She quickly realized that she was in the cabin.

It's Li Yanzhou's private jet! The same one we used to get here.

What is she doing here?

After she finished looking around, Li Yanzhou leaned down and stared at her like she was a pet.

"Have you finished watching?"

"Where... is my brother?"

The last thing she remembered about last night was drinking with Huo Zhizhou. Then, in an instant, she blacked out and lost consciousness until she woke up now.

"He's gone, little princess, you have no savior."

Li Yanzhou scoffed and spoke cruelly, word by word, in her ear.

"Tell me, how unlucky did I have to end up in my hands again?"

Luo Tingwei looked at him in disbelief, a suspicion already forming in her mind.

Could it be that Huo Zhizhou sold her out?

There was something wrong with that glass of wine yesterday.

"You conspired with my brother?" she blurted out, glaring at him angrily.

"Your words are really harsh. Your brother has clearly abandoned darkness and embraced the light."

"You're despicable! You must have threatened him with something."

Li Yanzhou lifted her chin and applied slight pressure, "Behave yourself."

However, Luo Tingwei seemed to have gone mad and began to unleash a torrent of words.

Her hands and feet were also tied, so she couldn't move at all and could only vent her frustration through her mouth.

At this moment, she was filled with hatred for this man, and forgot all about being afraid.

Just yesterday, Lin Zeyuan confessed his true feelings to her, and she agreed to try to accept him.

She thought everything would start anew and move in a positive direction.

But now, after waking up, she is shocked to find herself back to square one. How could she not hate it!

Annoyed by her noise, Li Yanzhou poured a glass of wine, pried open her mouth, and poured it into her mouth without any tenderness.

She choked and coughed repeatedly, her face turning red, and then she started yelling again.

"Are you trying to kill me?"

Li Yanzhou withdrew his hand, his cold gaze falling on her, a slight smile playing on his thin lips.

"Kill you? I gave you your life, so what if I kill you?"

"What nonsense are you spouting? I think you're insane!"

If her hands hadn't been tied, she would have wanted to fight him to the death.

"Okay, quiet down."

Li Yanzhou's tone turned dangerous, "If alcohol can't fill your mouth and shut you up, I don't mind trying something else."

As he spoke, he moved his hand to his waist.

Luo Tingwei was so frightened by his actions that she immediately shut up.

She glimpsed something called desire in his bloodshot eyes.

Seeing that she had quieted down, Li Yanzhou stopped what he was doing, the words almost squeezed out between his teeth.

"Luo Tingwei, if I am a beast, it must be because you forced me to be."

His voice was filled with suppressed anger, and she quickly lowered her head, no longer looking at him.

She vaguely realized that this trip back was destined to be a matter of life and death.

**

The plane returned to Black City, to the Dark Sea Villa.

Luo Tingwei was locked in a dark and damp basement, with nothing but a bed and a large mirror.

She was imprisoned on that bed, her head hanging low, like a lifeless doll.

At this moment, all she could see in her mind was Lin Zeyuan's face.

"Who are you thinking about? That guy surnamed Lin?"

Just then, a light flashed in, the door opened, and the sound of a man's steady footsteps came through.
