Chapter 33 First Encounter
Luo Tingwei was taken aback, but quickly understood what he meant.
"are you sure?"
She winked mischievously. "Once you wear it, no other girl will give you a red ribbon."
"It will block your chances of finding a partner."
She thoughtfully highlighted the key points.
Li Yanzhou sneered, "What, you really want someone to give me a red ribbon?"
Luo Tingwei thought for a moment, then spoke with a mix of sincerity and sarcasm.
"I can't stop you from going to someone better than me, can I?"
Li Yanzhou seemed to be losing his composure.
"Luo Tingwei, you're really dull. Dull and stupid, not likable at all."
"Yeah, I'm so stupid, so dull, so clumsy, so can you let me go?"

Li Yanzhou seemed to be losing patience.
So she reached out and helped him put it on.

The dinner was held in the main hall of the manor.
Luo Tingwei looked around to make sure Li Yanzhou wasn't there before she walked around the banquet hall with ease.
She followed behind Huo Zhizhou with a glass of wine in her hand, keeping her voice down.
"Cousin, what are you planning to do?"
"You have to save me!"
Huo Zhizhou glanced at the blue ribbon on her wrist and joked, "What, you've put it on voluntarily, how am I supposed to save you?"

Luo Tingwei was stunned for a moment, glanced around, quickly took it off, and casually put it down.
"Weiwei, you and that guy are in a serious relationship, right? It's none of my business if you two are arguing."
Oh no, it seems Huo Zhizhou is planning to abandon her.
“Cousin, I really was forced by him. He even tied me to the bed with leather rope before…”

Lin Zeyuan glanced at her bare wrist and smiled. "What, didn't you receive the ribbon?"
"What a coincidence, I haven't received it yet either."
He also showed her his wrist.
"How about we switch?"
Lin Zeyuan suddenly said.

Luo Tingwei instinctively refused; if Li Yanzhou found out, she would be finished.
"What's wrong with it?"
Lin Zeyuan smiled gently, "What, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Before the banquet ends, any men or women who are not wearing the corresponding ribbons will be dragged out and publicly executed. I'm sure you don't want that."

Li Yanzhou lightly twirled the blue ribbon between his fingertips, a cold smile curving his thin lips, his eyes so icy they seemed to want to devour her.
"Luo Tingwei, it seems you've really grown up."
The blue ribbon fell to the ground with a thud, and the next second, a black leather shoe stepped on it, screeching heavily.
"It's only been a few hours, and you're already so eager to accept other men's things?"
Luo Tingwei's breath hitched, and she subconsciously took a step back, about to explain.
"No, I just... I wasn't paying attention..."
Seeing her so cautious and frightened, Lin Zeyuan took a step forward and shielded Luo Tingwei behind him. Then, he looked directly at the man opposite him, his voice low and authoritative.
"Who are you?"
Li Yanzhou's gaze lingered on him for a fleeting second, a slight smile playing on his lips, revealing contempt and disdain.
"Kid, this is none of your business, get lost."
Lin Zeyuan remained unfazed and coldly replied,
“I don’t care who you are, this is a banquet hall, not a place where you can do whatever you want.”
Luo Tingwei reacted slightly, grabbed Lin Zeyuan's arm, and shook her head at him, "Don't worry about me, you should go. This is between him and me."
She knew Li Yanzhou's methods, and Lin Zeyuan was innocent; she didn't want to involve him.
Little did she know, the man opposite her suddenly fixed his gaze on her hand, which was resting on Lin Zeyuan's arm, with a sinister look, as if he had locked onto his prey.
That was an extremely dangerous omen.
The surrounding guests, hearing the commotion, all turned to look.
Luo Tingwei finally noticed where his gaze was and quickly withdrew her hand.
Li Yanzhou's gaze softened slightly, but it still held a hint of ferocity, and his voice was deep and oppressive.
"Luo Tingwei, my patience is limited."
"I'll count to three. If you're still standing there, don't blame me for going too far."
Luo Tingwei's back stiffened, and she broke out in a cold sweat.
She dared not hesitate any longer and immediately went to his side.
She lowered her voice and pleaded in an almost humble tone.
"Not here, let's go back and talk."
Lin Zeyuan looked at the scene before him, a cold glint in his eyes.
The next second, Luo Tingwei's wrist was grabbed. Startled, she turned her head and saw Lin Zeyuan's gaze, which made her feel a chill for the first time.
That's enough.
He tightened his grip on her wrist slightly, pulling her back to his side.
Luo Tingwei was suddenly startled, and then she heard Lin Zeyuan's chilling voice again in her ear.
"If you want to vent your anger, go find someone else. She's a person, not a toy you can play with at will."
