"Okay, you said I'm narrow-minded and bad-tempered!" Yan Zi was so angry that he wanted to hit Feng Xiaoyun with the fish.
"Without you, I'm like a fish out of water!" Feng Xiaoyun hurriedly continued singing: "I can't survive anymore, we can't be together, swimming around!"
"Here they come again!" Ma Keer picked up a small snail and threw it over: "Hey, you two, we haven't had breakfast yet, can you please be quiet?"
Yan Zi stuck out her tongue at Feng Xiaoyun before running back to help Marco. She had just finished what she was doing and on a whim wanted to tease Feng Xiaoyun.
Unexpectedly, Feng Xiaoyun would sing such a corny song, especially in front of so many people. She felt a little embarrassed and quickly lowered her head and pretended to be peeling garlic.
"Sister, you're going to crush all those garlic skins!" Marco said unhappily.
"Ah, haha, you've already peeled them!" Yan Zi put down the garlic peels awkwardly, then changed the subject and asked, "After we finish recording the entire 'A Bite of China', it happens to be Sister Chen and Brother Cao's wedding. Do you want to come?"
Ma Ke'er didn't expect Yan Zi to ask this question so suddenly. After a pause, she asked dryly, "Is it her? Did Sister Chen ask you to ask?"
"Yes!" Yan Zi nodded. "Sister Chen doesn't blame you for what happened back then. She said you were the first artist she ever mentored, and she hopes you can go."
"If you and Feng Xiaoyun feed me less dog food, I can consider it!" Marco handed the peeled garlic and picked onions to the fisherman on the side and said expressionlessly.
But Yan Zi could tell from her trembling hands that perhaps her mood was just like the sea around her, with waves rising and falling.
