The filming of the morning's scenes did not go smoothly. During the meal, Tian Wenbo was very unhappy. He took the script directly, crossed out several unimportant scenes of Bai Rong, and then changed a few lines. He threw the script to her and asked her to familiarize herself with it again. He would film other people's scenes in the afternoon.
Bai Rong received the newly revised script, but she didn't dare to say anything. She could only walk aside with tears in her eyes.
"Bai Rong, take care of your image." Chi Man walked over and said, "Put aside your other announcements for the next few days. I just made some inquiries, and humph, Yan Zi has been on the set all the time these days, hanging around Director Tian whenever he has free time."
The tone was sour, as if he had drunk a large glass of lemonade.
"I understand, Sister Man." Bai Rong said aggrievedly. In the past few days, the company arranged for her to shoot commercials and record songs. She only memorized her lines in the entire script.
Just now, she got a line wrong and was called "cut". She wanted to get the script to see what the line was, but she didn't expect Yan Zi, who was acting opposite her, to recite her line directly. When she got the script, she found that it was exactly the same as Yan Zi's.
What does this mean? It means that Yan Zi not only memorized her own lines, but also the lines of her co-stars.
There were several times when the director almost forced her to hold her head down and press her face on the monitor to watch the playback. She could see that Yan Zi's performance in the camera was completely on a different level from her own.
Damn it, why did she have to act so well? Was she just trying to prove that the eighth-place finisher was better than the third-place finisher? The director always favored her. She said two lines that were clearly different from the script, but the director didn't call cut. Instead, I was the one who got called cut because I didn't connect.
Later, the director revised the script and asked her to follow her lines. Why was that?
Bai Rong didn't know that the lines all had some minor logical problems, so Yan Zi had discussed it with the director before revising it. However, since she was away from the crew every day and had just started filming today, Tian Wenbo hadn't thought about it at the time. Later, he remembered and gave her the updated script, but she misunderstood that the director was just going along with Yan Zi and asking her to cooperate.
After dinner, Bai Rong found a corner and began to read the revised script. Her role in the new script was much smaller, but it was the director's decision at the time, and she had no choice but to resent Yan Zi even more, thinking that all this was because of her.
Yan Zi only had one scene in the afternoon. Although the actor he acted with couldn't be said to have great acting skills, he was a boy who had acted in several plays after all. There was no possibility of being overshadowed when acting opposite Yan Zi. The progress was quite fast, and he passed it in just two or three takes.
This scene was over, and there were no more scenes with Yan Zi today, so she prepared to go to the locker room to change back into her clothes. Although the high school uniform she was wearing was new, it still felt weird on her.
Especially the way that annoying Feng Xiaoyun looked at me, as if he was mocking me for being a high school student, huh!
The dressing room was at the very edge of the entire crew. On the way, Yan Zi saw Bai Rong moving a stool not far from the dressing room and reading the script. However, the two of them didn't have much to say to each other, so they didn't say hello and just walked past.
When Yan Zi changed his clothes and came out, he saw Bai Rong arguing in a low voice with a thin man.
Bai Rong: "What are you doing?"
Man: "What am I doing? I'm just passing by here. What's wrong? Can a big star bully a small extra like me?"
The man looked like a gangster, and stared at Bai Rong in front of him provocatively as he spoke.
Bai Rong: "You, you just passed by here and deliberately bumped me with your elbow... bumped me there..."
Man: "What here and where? I don't know what you're talking about. If you have evidence, go and sue me."
After saying that, the man was about to leave, but Bai Rong didn't know what to do. Looking at the stains on the front of her white school uniform left by the man's dirty hands, tears started to flow down her face.
She wanted to shout, but was afraid that it would affect her image. What if this was exposed and reported that a certain artist was attacked by an extra on the set? The thought of this made Bai Rong tremble all over and she didn't know what to do.
At this time, the man was blocked by a figure. The man looked up at Yan Zi's beautiful face. There were so many beautiful girls in this crew. The one just now was beautiful enough, but the one in front of him was even better and had a better figure.
He pretended to pass sideways, but then raised his elbows, trying to repeat the same trick.
Unexpectedly, Yan Zi dodged to the side, turned around, grabbed the man's outstretched hand and put it on his shoulder, arched his back and straightened his waist, and kicked the man's calf bone with the heel of one foot. With a back throw, he threw the thin man to the ground.
"Ouch, ouch!" This made a big noise. Someone had just seen Bai Rong talking to the man from afar. With so many people on the set, they just thought the two knew each other and didn't take it seriously. Only when they saw them fighting did they realize something had happened.
Soon, Feng Xiaoyun, Sister Chen, and Bai Rong's agent Chi Man came over, and many people from the crew, including director Tian Wenbo, also came over.
"What's going on?" Tian Wenbo asked with a frown.
"This guy wants to be a hooligan to me." Yan Zi didn't mention Bai Rong, but the people around him knew that things were not that simple when they saw Bai Rong crying in Chi Man's arms.
"Ouch, who, who is being a hooligan? Ouch, my waist, my back. What's wrong? Just because you're a big star, you can bully people? I want to get my injuries checked, and I want to find reporters to expose you."
"Who is this person?" Tian Wenbo asked with a frown.
"This is an extra, actually a local tyrant from the neighborhood." A producer in charge of extras came over to explain, "Director Tian, you know that when filming outside, these local tyrants usually have to be taken care of. This person said he wanted a small role. It didn't matter if he had any lines, just being on TV was enough to satisfy his curiosity."
