"These chickens... they look really strange. Are they edible?" Xu Kun leaned closer, looking at the two chickens lying in the corner with a suspicious expression.
"It should be okay, right?" Jiang Bai replied uncertainly.
Gu Mian, who was unpacking a hot pot, looked over upon hearing this.
She glanced over and didn't notice anything amiss, so she turned back to continue unpacking the vermicelli. Halfway through, she suddenly realized something and turned her head away again.
"Does this chicken have four legs?"
She asked hesitantly, after all, she had never seen a chicken with four legs before, and those two chickens were stacked together and thrown in a corner.
She probably misread it.
Just as I was thinking this, Jiang Bai nodded firmly: "That's right."
Gu Mian: "Uh."
She stared wide-eyed in surprise.
Xu Kun squatted down and poked at the chicken's feet, causing the two chickens to cluck in surprise.
"Where did you catch this chicken? It looks so strange, I hope it won't cause any problems if you eat it."
Jiang Bai: "There's a large herd in the woods to the west. If you're worried, don't eat it yet."
I wasn't the only one who caught a chicken. Let's see if the other players have any feedback after eating it.
"Wow!" Xu Kun exclaimed, "You're using other people as guinea pigs!"
"Or do you want to be the guinea pig?" Jiang Bai glanced at him sideways.
"Just kidding, just kidding." Xu Kun immediately raised his hands in surrender: "Anyone with a brain would think about it and wait and see if it's edible."
Only those brainless people would eat without thinking. Even if they survive this time, they won't escape next time; if they die from eating it, it's their fate.
