Every inch of space on the 500-square-meter ship was completely filled by these objects that had fallen from the sky.
Gu Xi walked outside with a livid face, the sight before her making her feel dizzy. The once spacious and tidy deck had now become a chaotic mess of ruins.
The moment she opened the door, the items on the roof shook violently and finally collapsed.
Gu Xi reacted quickly, stepping back to avoid this sudden "disaster".
She picked up an object lying on the ground; it was the same kind of thing as the first piece of trash she found—a broken fossil. The fossil was useless to her, so she casually tossed it into the sea.
Then, she picked up a piece of what looked like rotten wood and examined it.
UFO wood: an ultralight, hard material that emits a faint glow at night.
Gu Xi's eyes lit up, and she quickly put the things away. This was truly a case of finding gold in a garbage dump!
It seems this garbage dump isn't necessarily a garbage dump; you can still find good things there.
Knowing there was "gold" in the garbage dump, Gu Xi's expression improved considerably, but with such a mountain of trash in front of her, it was clearly impossible for her to pick it all up with just her bare hands.
Gu Xi pondered, and the best solution was to put the trash directly into the storage boxes. However, the outdoor storage boxes were quite far from where she was, which was inconvenient. So she simply went up to the third floor and had several new storage boxes made.
Since she was already on the third floor, Gu Xi decided to start cleaning from the top.
She lightly stepped onto the railing of the pergola and leaped onto the slightly sloping roof. There wasn't much trash on the roof, which made her feel somewhat fortunate.
Then, Gu Xi collected the trash and put it into the storage box.
As for the flowers and plants that were knocked down, she simply used object manipulation to put them back in their original positions.
Just then, she caught a glimpse of a surprising figure out of the corner of her eye. At that moment, the octopus was carefully manipulating its eight tentacles, holding several flowerpots and placing them crookedly in a corner of the balcony.
Seeing this, Gu Xi couldn't help but stop what she was doing, her eyes revealing a hint of relief and surprise. Thinking of the octopus that had driven her to her wits' end a few days ago, it was now quite sensible, knowing to do housework on its own initiative.
"It seems you've really grown a lot," Gu Xi murmured to herself, a warm smile appearing on her lips.
The octopus seemed to sense its owner's gaze; its round eyes darted around and met Gu Xi's eyes.
"Chirp chirp!"
Then it chirped a few times happily, its voice full of affection, as if showing her the fruits of its labor.
Looking at the octopus's cheerful appearance, Gu Xi couldn't help but feel a sense of pleasure. She smiled gently and gave the octopus an appreciative look.
Encouraged by its owner, the octopus seemed to work even harder, waving its tentacles and busily tidying up the flowerpots and other clutter around it.
She quickly finished tidying up the third-floor awning. She nodded in satisfaction, then turned and went down to the ground floor to continue tidying up.
The octopus jumped down as well, clearly wanting to continue helping.
