Chapter 123 Stone Lizard Cave, Eggshell Materials (2/2)

Because it was so dark, she simply released her mental energy and explored every detail of the surrounding cave.

Suddenly, an inconspicuous stone cave caught her attention, and she keenly noticed piles of discarded eggshells that were faintly visible inside.

Gu Xi withdrew his spiritual power and carefully approached the stone cave.

The entrance to the cave wasn't large; she had to bend over to enter. But the moment she stepped inside, she was stunned.

It's full of eggshells!

A mountain of eggshells!

It's unclear how long these stone lizards have been stored.

Gu Xi squatted down, picked up a piece to examine it, and a game prompt appeared.

[Game Hint: A stone lizard eggshell has been found.]

Stone lizard eggshells: hard yet lightweight, suitable as a hard material, and possess extremely high heat resistance.

Upon hearing the game notification, Gu Xi's heart raced, and her eyes gleamed with barely concealed excitement.

Hard, lightweight, and resistant—isn't this exactly the shipbuilding material she's been dreaming of?

And so much at once, it's like they're practically handing gold to her!

With that in mind, why should she be polite? Of course, she should take it all!

This also helps clean up the trash for the stone lizard!

Gu Xi excitedly collected all the eggshells. Perhaps it was because eggshells were difficult to count. When she put the eggshells into her backpack, they were simply bundled together, and she counted them as a ball of one hundred.

The pile of things in the cave then provided her with 8,000 eggshells.

We're rich! We're rich!

She held the shark pearl up to the last corner of the cave, making sure nothing was missed, before bending down to exit the cave.

However, just as she was basking in the joy of her harvest, an unusual atmosphere quietly began to spread.

Gu Xi's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly looked around.

With just a quick glance, she noticed that the lava in the distance was gradually changing from fiery red to dark red, and even showing a hint of eerie orange-yellow.

They no longer flowed calmly as before, but began to boil violently.

The molten lava churned and surged, constantly bubbling, accompanied by the occasional burst of flames.

Without a second thought, Gu Xi immediately set off at top speed towards the cave entrance.

She ran swiftly along the winding cave passages, but clusters of stone lizard "stones" kept blocking her way.

After another sudden stop, she nearly crashed into the stone wall. Gu Xi took a deep breath and immediately used object manipulation, maneuvering the spikes to fly low and bypass the obstacle.

However, the darkness outside the cave severely hampered her vision, making it difficult for her to maneuver even at her fastest speed. To ensure her safety, she once again used her mental powers to probe her surroundings and avoid obstacles.

With the support of her mental strength, her evacuation was finally unimpeded. After turning a few corners, she "whooshed" out of the cave.

Although it was still pitch black outside, she dared not stop for even a moment.

She immediately maneuvered her spikes into the air, looking down around. Finally, she saw the faint light emanating from her ship in the distance.

Without a moment's hesitation, Gu Xi sped off towards the ship at top speed.

The wind whistled past her ears, and the sound of the ocean waves echoed in her ears. After she landed safely on the boat, she immediately directed the sharks to leave the area as quickly as possible.

She had a premonition that danger was coming. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
