With the release of her mental energy, she could clearly sense attacks sharper than arrows, penetrating the obstruction of seawater and accurately striking their targets.
The moment the mental attack struck the sea monsters, their bodies trembled slightly, and they sank a few feet into the water. Blood even flowed from the eyes of the sea monster she struck, dripping into the seawater.
Seeing this, Gu Xi felt a surge of joy. As long as the attack was effective, these sea beasts would pose no threat.
Gu Xi composed herself and quickly sprang into action. To avoid damage to the ship, fighting the sea monsters required staying away from the vessel.
With a thought, she concentrated her mental energy, used her object manipulation skills, and lightly leaped onto the spikes, flying into the air.
The attacking sea monster saw her fly into the air, its two large, round eyes following closely behind as it tumbled and rolled. It would also occasionally open its mouth to reveal its teeth, attempting to bite Gu Xi as she darted through the air.
While luring the sea monsters, Gu Xi gave the octopus instructions to use water jets to separate the ship from the sea monsters.
Upon receiving the command, the octopus unleashed several columns of water that shot skyward from the sea. These columns blocked the sea creatures' path, forcing them to stay away from the ship.
Although the marine mammals are large enough, the octopus and the king shark are much larger than them.
The octopus has eight tentacles, which are now nimbly waving in the water, trying to catch these sea creatures.
These sea creatures moved with lightning speed in the darkness, their movements so swift that even an octopus could hardly keep up with their movements. Its long tentacles, however, could never match the pace of these creatures' actions.
Upon seeing this, Gu Xi's mind raced, and she immediately used her mental restraint technique.
As her mental strength increased, her control and understanding of her skills became more proficient. At this moment, she processed the mental energy extracted from her skills into invisible ropes, encircling the sea area where the battle was taking place.
It's like a net; they can only move within it, and once they touch it, they'll get stuck.
The moment the mental restraint was cast, the sea monster, which had been swimming at high speed, immediately braked and turned around.
Seeing this, Gu Xi felt a sense of relief. So what if these sea beasts could sense the mental restraint? They were still trapped like turtles in a jar. As long as they couldn't escape, catching them was only a matter of time.
On the other side, the shark king and the octopus sensed their fish owner's skills and immediately took action.
The shark king shifted its position and submerged beneath the surface, while the octopus used several tentacles to drive away the same sea monster.
The other sea creatures wanted to come forward to help, but Gu Xi directly manipulated the spikes to block their movement.
Since her mental strength was upgraded to Rank B, she can now manipulate 32 spikes. Using these 32 spikes to deal with the 7 sea beasts, no matter how fast the sea beasts are, it is still very difficult to completely dodge the spikes attacking from different angles.
The activity space of these sea monsters was gradually compressed by the spikes, and Gu Xi's occasional large-area mental attacks made it even more difficult for them to hide and escape.
After Gu Xi's actions, even if he couldn't wipe out the entire group of low-level sea beasts, he did manage to injure two or three of them.
Suddenly, a rushing sound came from the sea, and after the waves subsided, a thick, pungent smell of blood rose from the surface. Gu Xi diverted some of her attention to the area where the smell of blood was most concentrated.
Then, the Shark King sank back into the sea, while the corpse of a sea monster floated on the surface.
roar--
Before she could think any further, a deafening roar echoed across the sea.
Gu Xi looked closely and saw that the previously injured sea beasts had gathered together. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
