Chapter 193 Ice Skating Preparations (2/2)

Gu Xi recalled the several times she had almost slipped on her own boat and began to doubt her ability to control her body.

However, since the other party said they could provide her with the actions, that makes things easier.

Gu Xi clicked on the profile and added her as a friend.

**

Luman was casually browsing channel 2333 when he happened to see Gu Xi, a top player in the region, urgently seeking help in the chat. This was a very rare occurrence.

After all, everyone knows that Gu Xi usually helps everyone more, but today she changed her routine and asked for information about ice skating.

She was also an elderly resident of District 2333. From the incident of using plastic buckets to shield her from the rain to the incident of the medicine, although she had indirectly received many favors from Gu Xi, she had no direct interaction with him. Now that he needed help, she was still willing to lend a hand.

She had just sent out the information about the regional channel when Gu Xi sent her a friend request.

She paused for a moment, then quickly accepted the request. Just a dozen seconds after they became friends, Gu Xi called her directly with a voice message.

Luman smiled inwardly; she could tell the other party was really in a hurry.

As soon as Luman answered the call, Gu Xi got straight to the point.

Gu Xi: "Hello Luman, I need your assistance!"

Luhmann: "I just saw you asking about skating moves, is this what you're referring to?"

Gu Xi: "Yes. If you have any clothing ideas, you can also provide them to me."

Luhmann didn't agree immediately; doing this wouldn't be easy. She then inquired about the methods.

Gu Xi had already thought of this, and she immediately replied, "I have an item called the Sea Shadow Stone, which functions similarly to a camera. I'll send it to you, and you can take pictures of it and then send them back to me." (Sea Shadow Stone: See Chapter 94)

Gu Xi was willing to sell something like this, but others might not be willing to buy it. Besides, she needed it urgently, so she could only try to trust the other party first.

Luhmann was somewhat surprised and tentatively asked, "Aren't you afraid I'll take the stone and not do the job?"

Gu Xi's voice was low and cold, carrying a hint of danger: "Can you?"

Luhmann honestly replied, "I don't know either. It won't happen now, but I can't guarantee it won't happen after I see something. After all, nobody knows when human nature will kick in."

This was the first time Gu Xi had encountered such an answer, but given the person's clear self-awareness, their credibility seemed quite high. This kind of person was much better than those who constantly said things like, "How could that be? I'm very moral," and proclaimed themselves "good people."

As the ancients said, "If you doubt someone, don't use them; if you use someone, don't doubt them." Since she intends to cooperate with Luhmann, she should give him more trust.

Gu Xi replied after a few seconds of thought, "I believe you. However, I can't say for sure how much I'll pay you right now, but I won't let you work for nothing. If you agree, I'll send you the Sea Shadow Stone."

Luman readily agreed; for her, recording a skating routine would only take a dozen minutes. But the real benefit was being able to use this opportunity to connect with Gu Xi.

After the two hung up the call, Gu Xi didn't waste any words and sent the recording stone directly.

A dozen minutes later, Luhmann returned the Sea Shadow Stone.

Gu Xi opened it and saw that a set of skating moves had been recorded inside.

After she finished reviewing the message, she was about to send it to Luman, but he had already sent it first.

Luhmann: "I'm already designing the clothes; I can draw up the designs. But it will take some effort to make them."

Gu Xi was a little surprised to see Luman's reply. She originally thought that it was already good enough to just get the skating moves, but she didn't expect that the other party could actually solve the problem of the costume as well.
